Wolf is a metaphor, like when you'd say a guy is a "dog", but more violent and predatory. He doesn't want her dead, he just wants *her*. Milk and cookies is her revenge song. "I pull off black so well" - her attending his funeral "Honey, do you want me now" - like the "How do you like me now?" saying, but mixed with like "Do you still want me [sexually] as I murder you?" She wants him dead for the pain that he has caused her

The black eyes have alot of meaning, its all going to make sence in the last song, there is a reason why the woman with black eyes knew to gave her the poison Theres also a special meaning to the wolfs cave beeing made of ice Crybaby is actually singing that she is going to poison him not the opposite Also the person who called him to distract him is going to be reveald in the last song Edit: 100 likes???? I listen to a lot of Melanie Martinez but I still don’t know why the cave is ice or who called to distract him
@palomaroggeri86804 жыл бұрын
Madison Gilbert ice means abscence of love, and non humanaty, a way of saiyng that what the wolf is doing is so terrible, cold and cruel that he has no love inside him, he is so evil that his actions make him not human, a monster with no compassion and no feelings, only obssesion and hunger. the one who calls the wolf to ditract him is the black eyed woman, I dont know if your familiar with the theory of why black eyes and how crybaby, the doctor and the woman in the shopm got them, but basically its a way of showing self exceptence and beeing in peace with your actions, they all been throught difficult things and they all ( at least the woman of the shop) have been victims of the bad wolf, thats why she knows that she needs to give crybaby the poison, and the time that the bad wolf asks her to bake the cookies

When you’re done reacting to Cry Baby I would recommend listening to the deluxe tracks (Cake, Teddy Bear and Play Date). Play Date recently went viral out of nowhere which is pretty cool. After that I’d recommend reacting to the songs from K-12 which is her newest album which came out last september. All the songs are about Crybaby during her school life and there is even a movie of about 90 minutes that goes with all the songs. Alsoo, please start reacting to the Kurdish/Dutch singer called Naaz, she’s amazing and did the pre act for Melanie’s shows in Europe ^^

First of, i love your reactions and how you start the video of explaining the last video. In Mrs potato head, she isn't an adult, shes maybe a teen wanting to be like all the other girls in the tv with the blond hair and skinny bodys ect, but after watching that on the tv she realises thats not what she wants.I think shes a teen in Mrs potato head as she has diet pills, but is still child like. At the start of this video so is throwing away her birthday party streamers so she must be still 9 in this song. In the line, "Next time you're alone, think twice when you grab the phone" i believe i read that is a reference to the movie Scream, and to one of her songs. There may have been a hint to this song in the music video for Pity Party, which was Cry Baby having milk and cookies while writing birthday invitations.

The parts where it's just her head on a table is a reference to the line "I'll cut you up and make dinner" in tag youre it. Also, can you react to something by little mix?
@watsername4 жыл бұрын
I think it's a little bit from his perspective of like jersh says having her for dinner on a silver platter, and a little of a traumatic experience like that it's like your head is separate from your body... Because you are trying to run from the situation but can't so you kinda distance yourself.... Either way as someone who was assaulted at 15 this song hits deep for me tbh..... And the amount of times I've poisoned him in my mind is unreal, its why it annoys me when people say she's glorifying rape somehow, when she's just saying its a reality people will take advantage of any vulnerability, but you can take back the power.

in milk and cookies, its's basically cry baby (melanie) making cookies for the wolf, because she has to. she then realises about the poison and plans on poisoning him so she can escape. which is why she probably says 'im fucking crazy' (the song is a follow-up from tag, you're it, hence why they're in a double feature)

In mrs potato head, its crybaby watching the TV, metaphor for watching her parents. The married couple is her parents, her mom started off happy and in love, then dad is making her feel like shit and starts cheating, and mom starts drinking, and then she had crybaby and her brother. For children, their first influence of beauty and love are their parents, so at a super young age, crybaby was learning to doubt herself... so there is no huge timejump as you thought

Pure love is all consuming...but some people get fucked up and obsess over this idea through a materialistic lens’s...which is expressed in acts like consuming literal blood like it will make you like your victim. Like in fairy tails the evil queens would bathe in the blood of enemies like dark magic type stuff also like all kinds of other wired stuff but to me this is why some killers will ingest literally thier victims. It’s a fascination with certain errors in thought like repressed ways that they could never get through or release they end up having fixations instead

Okay so in the crybaby album when someone else is talking or it's someone other then Crybaby's point of view the sound is distorted. Thats why in Tag your it the wolf's pov is way deeper than Melanie's actual voice. So Milk and Cookies is from Crybaby's perspective, meaning the Wolf is not trying to poison her, he's trying to use her and just have her as his own I guess, Crybaby is the one who wants to kill him because she's angry (rightfully so) and wants revenge (again, rightfully so). Also, like many have mentioned in Potato head the story we see isn't Crybaby's. In the beginning, she sees all these ads about how to look perfect and she's incredibly insecure so she buys all of it. Then she sees this story of someone who did all of the things she was trying to do to earn love but it ended horribly- which allows Crybaby to see that it's not worth it and it's okay to love yourself for who you are. Crybaby's entire journey is as a child. (Another thing, these two songs happen immediately after pity party so there's no time jump, you can see her throwing away the party decorations at the very beginning. At most it's been a couple days in between) Edit: One more thing lol. A way I'd say to help decipher what's a metaphor and what's actually happening is if it's straight forward or not. Like in training wheels, there's a bit of interpretive dancing and even the lyrics aren't matching what's actually happening (the lyrics are about getting more intimate in a relationship and what's shown is Crybaby teaching Johnny how to ride a bike without training wheels). In tag your it and milk and cookies the lyrics are telling a story (lyrics: making cookies. What's shown: Crybaby making cookies. Lyrics: think twice before answering the phone. What's shown: The wolf picking up the phone while Crybaby pours poison in the cookies. What you're hearing is what you're seeing). Pretty much all of this is applicable to her songs expect for Mad Hatter, I can't say why cause spoilers but that one isn't either metaphor or reality.
