fwiw had my first chemo in past few days - Rituxan and Bendamustine - the infusion process was pretty easy, but got nauseous and vomiting the first night, also sleeping a lot and having to take natural remedies (prune juice and Kiwi crush) to avoid constipation. Am continuing working, went for a longish slow walk including up 360+ steps yesterday (the second day of chemo), and generally feeling fine - so far anyway!

@@MelanieCamille Great stuff!!! Please see the revolting case of Connecticut teen, Cassandra Callender. Girl was forced into chemotherapy by the Courts. To add insult to injury, they gave the family, a hefty medical bill!!! Had Cassandra been an impoverished African-American, Hispanic, or Ukrainian refugee, they would have said the choice was hers!!! I would rather die than undergo chemotherapy. Nurses wear protective clothing to protect their skin from burns. They are then pouring that toxic stuff into your body!!! Paradoxically, it is a lifesaver, but people have died from it. Sending you hugs!!!

Hello, this is my first time speaking.It out loud since it is a new diagnosis for me. I'm super scared and I don't know what to do.I don't want to tell anyone. For a few years now i've been having very heavy night sweats, which my gynecologist assumed was premenopause.. On another note for the past month, i've been having neck pain and brought it up at my yearly... I was supposed to do blood tests anyway and ask the doctor if there's anything she could test me for that would give her an inclination about cancer.. Well, she called me almost immediately and said, my limps We're not in a good number and that I should come back for more tests when I did she saw inflammation. And now I have another appointment coming up for further testing. She basically said the numbers are indicating lymphoma, which I know nothing about. I'm super scared and also find it.Ironic that it's the side that I listen on my phone the most on.. I'm super scared and i'm nervous if anyone wants to leave me a comment on how to get through this.Please do I only found out this week

Did you have to freeze your eggs? I went to the hematologist after being sent over from a abnormal ultrasound on my lymph node and I seen a cancer doctor and a hematologist. The cancer doctor is very set on me having lymphoma I’m having a MRI because I get headaches everyday and two CT scans and a biopsy. I hear that young patients don’t have to freeze their eggs. My blood level was way off on my last blood count at my primary doctor so she did a full blood work which was like 4 big tubes of blood.
@MelanieCamille5 жыл бұрын
It depends on the chemo they put you on. The first oncologist I saw said that R-CHOP (the chemo I had) would make me infertile so I did freeze my eggs. But then the oncologist that I switched to said it shouldn’t cause infertility. I wish I had heard that before freezing my eggs because it cost me a lot of money, but none the less I have a few eggs set aside
