Thanks so much for such a easy to understand video. My dad just asked for sweet potato as he is craving it. Yes bigger potatoes take longer, also it takes longer if there are more of them or if the air fryer is smaller (less air circulates). Great that your sweet potatoes came out good!

I never thought about it, I know I use olive oil in the oven, so why not in the air fryer? You can use any kind of oil you like through, it will work the same.

Check after 35 min (pierce it with a fork to see if it's done). It also depends on the size of the potato, the smaller one might be done in 25-30 min.

A bit too mushy for my taste, I cut the wedge off of it, stick a piece of thick bacon with butter and garlic and spices, wrap it in foil, 25 minutes at 300, but tastes and appliances differ so do experiment!

Sorry it didn't work for you. Air fryers differ, next time please try reducing the temperature by 15F and increasing the cooking time until it's cooked through.

Easiest way to cook these is in the Microwave. Oven safe plate and cereal bowl. Knife all round each one, so the skin comes off easier. Place on plate with the cereal bowl inverted over top, set the timer to 3 to 4 minutes. When done let cool then remove the skin. Far easier than 40 minutes, and far more efficient. Enjoy.
