7 years ago, narc wife left we with nothing, took years of healing, which made me so much stronger, the last 2 years at my family’s brought some serious pain, but I don’t know where it went, I can’t feel it any longer, I am about to graduate and complete a year of no contact even living in the same house, I am feeling a freedom that I have never felt before in my life, I didn’t knew that this was further along the path a few months and years back, it smells like Awesome things are coming. The work is SO worth it, and it does take years.

Thank you so much Melanie, you have truly saved my life. first you helped me get away from my narc birth family but now you have helped me get away from the MIL narc. this woman was so evil, I had to live with her for monetary reasons and she had been tormenting me for years by telling me she was putting the "evil eye" on me. everyone kept saying ignore her, its not real..but like you said, its an invisible, energetic force. it went inside me, it was destroying me, physically and mentally. I just got away finally, thank God, but the psychic ties were still there, the trauma bond, like you said, but it helps me so much to understand why she was doing this to me, and you helped me understand..she wanted me fearful, she was feeding off my fear. now that I understand, it helps so much to let go. I kept wondering why she had treated me that way. thank you for helping me!! she also would tell me how as a nurse, she would tell her ex that she was going to stab him with an aids needle while he was sleeping if he cheated on her. these people are so sick and pure evil. youre the only one who understands.

Yes I have started too. Taking my power back. I told my Narc it’s over we have kiddos and a house. I practically cut contact and don’t let him question why. Now he said he’s done with me and doesn’t like the way I act. He’s mad he doesn’t have control anymore. It’s great. I am almost there. We are painting to sell and he’s finding a morgage loan. Thanks For all your videos.

Hairdresser cut my hair that took me 5 yrs to grow. For a black woman, that’s huge. I knew she was mean, but I never thought her jealousy would allow her to destroy the hair she helped me grow. I’m,73, she’s 69 and loosing her hair. My friends would brag to her about my silver white shoulder length thick hair. They/we knew she was jealous, but I never ever thought a running buddy of 35 yrs would be that warped. Thank God she did. Now I’m free of her and all the micro aggressions she committed against me. I didn’t know then what was going on, I just knew something was strange. When we would go to dinner and she was quiet and moody, I just chalked it up to all the pressure she was dealing with. I just thought her toxic relationship with her mother temporarily had her down. Whew! Was I ever missing the big picture. Had she not cut my hair without my permission I would have continued to blow by all red flags. But no more. I’m 2 1/2-3 mos no contact now. There has been some stalking-15 phone calls, a trip to the neighbor, and now a flying monkey. There is a whole evil world out there I knew nothing about, but I am now informed thanks to you Melanie, Jesse Cabrera and others. Thank you so much for helping me find the road back to peace. And I have a new hair stylist who runs a very peaceful shop. Fresh air and spring water is all around.

You are truly amazing! Again, I appreciate your passion to help us. I had thought of ending my life at one point…wait….FOR HIM???? NOPE NOPE NOPE! I’m really doing this. With the help of you and God. “Thank you” just doesn’t seem enough to show my gratitude. Looking into NARP NOW. You are a lifesaver! Thanks. Great stuff. 4:25...you turn this around by turning inwards. Yes. This works. I started this process close to thirty years ago, and though I didn't understand it entirely, I kept plugging away at it. Now for me, I came from a strict Christian tradition that taught that turning inwards was of the devil. Now, as I learn about this, I'm able to name what I was waking up to, these narcisstic principles are taught right into the religious traditions. This has been a huge wake up for me.

Hi Godzilla man streb! Even though you say above that it’s about us, did you still have to put your foot down with narcissists? I mean, I really think that it’s about taking my power back, but I also feel that I must say something to one of them for me to be able to reclaim some power. Not bullets, but boundaries. Is that ok? I understand what Melanie is saying in this video about it being about us, but sometimes I think that we have to say something too to separate ourselves from the situation? Do you have any thoughts on that? I like some closure for myself, so not saying something to distance myself I don’t think would be good for me?

Thank you so much Melanie!! This video is great! I am still working out some feelings of guilt when taking my power back, although I can feel myself getting healthier already!! Is this guilt a normal feeling for those of us who have been used to acquiescing constantly in narcissistic situations?? Also, I see what you mean in the video about it being about us really, but I do feel that I need to say something to one of my narcissists to begin the healing process. Is this ok? I don’t think that I would feel good or that I will be able to create a healthy level of separation and distinction between me and this person without saying anything!

Without a perspective that transcends human limitations we have the weakness of our own damaged nature, the blindness our own wounds allows, and we lack the spiritual perspective that comes from God alone. Being healed and forgiven by God's graces and gifts of a faith that works by love lets us extend those graces to others. You cannot offer what you lack. The deep evil of the heart of mankind is not redeemable. Only a new heart, a gift received in the salvation offered in Christ Jesus, can let us receive a new nature.
