Hi Joy-el, I just want to let you know that you expressing your love for your hair has enabled me to gain confidence with my 4c hair and to love my kinky curls. As a teen being surrounded by people with straight or wavy hair, sometimes I feel lonely on who to come to for hair advice or to have inspiration on how to embrace my differences, but you've truly inspired me to rock my curls unapologetically ❤️❤️

You give the BEST product reviews! My hair is a multi textured gumbo. Mostly 4a,b high porosity. A Phoenician that deals with dry weather and hard water too. Your reviews are honest and sincere, clear and unapologetic but respectful. Although certain products may react somewhat differently on my hair, I will try/buy a product based on your review. I have followed you since you started this hair journey. It is fabulous to see how much you and that beautiful head of hair has GROWN. Thank you for all your hard work!

Joy-el ...Your hair is GORGEOUS...you was recommended and so glad you was 🤗...you have a PO Box..I purchased the leave in (have all Whitney products) the leave in works AWESOME but due to the “spearmint oil” it causes my eyes to tear 😢 and sneezing 🤧 due to seasonal allergies (very sensitive to smell)...Would you like the (2) bottles I have?🤔 If so; I’ll ship out Monday at your PO Box 😉..let me know by responding to this comment. I’m sry the 1st launch was not to your satisfaction but I so ❤️ the cream/oil, I hope Whitney can come up with solution to the leave in “unscented” version and I’m going to rush and order it🥰

We started our hair journeys at the same time (cut it from BSL, actually), and I had the same exact length of growth up until October. Now I’m sad when I watch your vids because I ended up having to cut my hair due to health related reasons, and I feel so behind, haha. Trying to not be insecure, but I miss my length and my journey. Oh well, you look great - can’t wait to get BACK to your length.

I mean, you didn't like the twist elongating cream because she didn't release a leave in with it and you kept trying to use it like a leave in so it would be cool to see how it all worked together on your hair type. The oil is superior to all other oils I've used, personally, because you can put water right on top of it and the water still sinks right in. The only downside is that the twist cream does flake up as you mentioned in a review but that's mostly if you don't use a leave-in AND an oil but I don't mind because I do use it with lots of products so it doesn't flake.
@SharmaineJoyel4 жыл бұрын
I'll try and buy the cream and oil again so that I can use it all in one routine to review again 😁
@nonalolagirl4 жыл бұрын
@@SharmaineJoyel it would be cool to see it Joy! Especially a twist out with the leave in, the way she instructs in that first twist out video. But I know you don't like those products😭😭 please don't buy them again. It's painful seeing you try to make products you don't like work. I think you got one successful wash n go with the twist cream but you had to use it in a way you don't use other products that do the same thing to your hair. That actually helped me not use this on my brother's 4C hair because I know he wouldn't know how to avoid flakes or go through the steps to get good results like I do on my easier to manage hair.

The government requires companies to change their formula every year or few years depending on the product. It’s weird ik
@coriebarnes86804 жыл бұрын
I don't know where you got this info, but it is NOT true! Companies actually get patents so that other companies and/or individuals can't steal their products out from under them. The competition will often times copy your ingredients and sell it at a lower price. That's why patents and copyrights are in place. It's a means to protect your company and brand. The patents and copyrights office is a federal government entity. They help you protect your products, so they can't possibly be going against the purpose for their existence.

The way my hair was shedding on this product turned me off of it. Too much hair was coming out. I was afraid I wasn’t going to have any hair left.
@IjeomaThePlantMama4 жыл бұрын
That's called detangling, sis. This leave in is SUPPOSED to help loosen and get rid of shed hairs so they slide out easily. Unless you're saying that this product is CAUSING your shedding, which I doubt.
@DH-uw3us4 жыл бұрын
@@IjeomaThePlantMama I know what detangling is. I also know what is a normal amount of hair fall out for my hair, and this wasn't it. My hair doesn't just come out from me touching it, which is what was happening with this product. There was only one other product that has done this to my hair and my hair was coming out way too easily by the chunks. That is what this reminded me of. I know that hair is supposed to come out when you detangle it, I do that every week to my hair. Again, this was different. There are some natural ingredients that just don't work for everybody's hair. What may work great for you can cause hair loss for someone else. Apparently a lot of people like this product. I just hope people do a patch test at the very least.
