Melanoma my Caregivers story

Caregivers are often overlooked in the cancer journey. Our Significant Others, Spouses & Children's lives all change after diagnosis.

Thanks for this wonderful video. I am caring for someone with stage 3 melanoma. It's hard on care-givers. You are in a constant state of protecting your sick loved one that you forget to ask for help yourself. People assume that you will step up and into the role of caregiver without much alteration. But it's emotional toil, especially having (and wanting) to "be strong" for the person with the cancer. When you have that emotional duty to be brave for your loved one, you feel like the walls are closing in on you emotionally. You will normally only feel comfortable and permitted to cry alone. You don't want your loved one to see you get upset, or to show your own frailty. During this time of caring for my loved one, I want to establish new routines that foster something self-nurturing and independent of cancer care duties. Not least because I need to know that I do (and will) have a life beyond cancer, whatever happens. Thanks for sharing your story, and thanks to your husband for taking the time to share his perspective. You're both inspiringly strong people. God bless.

Maybe I'm wrong but it seems that specialists are a network of golf buddies who send patients to each other to charge the insurance companies and finance future golf trips.

Please turn to Jesus He loves you and wants to save you, only Jesus can truly heal you, He is the God of miracles, the bible tells us in Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved, I seen God do amazing things in my life and in the life's of people I know, there is nothing impossible to God, its as simple as asking God to show you if He is REAL, and if you really want to know He will answer you, I know this because it happened to me
