Molly, great video! I'm currently using azelaic acid gel for my acne and didn't know it was also effective for treating melasma and hyperpigmentation.

Hi Molly the Tarte Knockout is excellent and the Kate Somerville Exfolikate intensive is good too for exfoliating. The good Genes of Sunday riley is a good Lactic acid. The advanced age spot of murad have hydroquinone at 2% and give me results. and traid the ziip beauty there is a setting for sun spots that reduce the spots. I been use the device for 1 month and I like it. Thank you for your videos. Kisses Lucila

Thank you, thank you, Molly for making this video!!! I’ve never had children, but have melasma. &, even though I have had a couple of super top dermatologists here in S.F., I never quite understood why I have it & what to do about it. 🤔 This video was so clear about the causes & treatments & now I understand why my latest dermatologist recommended microneedling w/ the rbp & feel hopeful. 🙂 Btw, my local all organic grocery store just started carrying HU chocolate. Since you mentioned it was an amazing chocolate bar in your “What I Eat in a Day” video, I bought one this afternoon & loved it! Thanks so much for your super healthy & helpful content!!! 🌿🌸🦢💕

IPL's totally helped my hyperpigmentation. It was amazing. I get an IPL yearly for maintenance and it literally is all gone.

Hi Molly and Dr B. My question is about our eyes. How do we treat dark circles, puffiness and crows feet? Do you feel a separate eye cream is necessary or are we allowed to use these products, like retinal, that close to the eye?

Dont forget indoor light, lights on hte phone and computer os one of the causes of melasma. And it doesnt matter when you put C vitamin on your face only the retinol.

What are options when you have reactions to those ingredients 😔. I recently went to a derm and was prescribed that exact blend of ingredients and suffered horrible contact dermatitis. I feel devastated and defeated. This condition robs me of any self confidence and I am at a loss...what can I do to get relief from this condition

Does the dr.s formula work on forearms and chest too? I have controlled my melasma w lots of exfoliating products/Suntegrity or Raw Elements sunscreen but I can’t get it to fade on the other areas😢

I’m an MD with melasma and understand the struggle. Mine was triggered SEVERELY by IPL. In fact, I never knew I had melasma until after I had IPL. It creates a lot of heat in the skin. My derm (didn’t do the IPL) said it’s pretty well known this can happen. I am diligent about SPF, sun exposure. BEWARE ALL!

This video is informative with very correct information but Molly...stop interrupting that poor lady! You cut her off and interrupt way too much. Let her finish. Constructive criticism.

I can’t get behind all this sunscreen use. (I live in SoCal) I get out of the sun before I start to burn. The chemicals in sunscreen are frightening.

Charløtte R I've read coconut oil can serve as a sunscreen. Of course, it won't protect entirely, but, if you're opposed to using chemicals, might be worth a try
@lovinglife4395 жыл бұрын
BB Jonas It only has an SPF of four or five. You need at least an SPF 30 to protect yourself adequately.
