Immigration has to stop now . The huge number of new arrivals is putting huge pressures on housing , meducare and other social welfare proframs . Never seen so many homeless around here in western Sydney before . Blind Freddie can see what the peoblems ate , but maybe he's overseas ( again ) , with his entourage .

They won't stop immigration, they have deals with foreign governments. Look at what they're bringing into the country, appalling.

It's by design, part of the plan to push us into 15 minute cities and total surveillance.

Honestly we need immigrants to keep the economy going etc.. BUT ITS TIME WE LOOKED AFTER OURSELVES FIRST! House Australians first... Immigrants last.. simple as that❤❤ Of course that will never happen... Anyone that even thinks about looking after their own people first is immediately called a racist... But the truth is we need to look after Australian citizens first and refugees last... Sadly Australian people are living rough on the streets for years while refugees get houses for 😢

@Jay-yh3np A bit of lop-sided logic there m8 . The reason the new arrivals have displaced Aussies is that they are generally wealthier , better educated , have support from their countrymen ( that have already settled here ) or are more likely to live two families in one house . The older Aussie , both men and increasingly women are priced out of even basic accommodation . If you say house Aussies first , then you have immigrants with no roof over their heads . An economy should not need immigrants in order to prosper , ingact quite the opposite is happening now . Australia is one of the richest countries on Earth and yet the wealth is being stolen by overseas investors or overseas manufacturers importing trash to sell for high prices and still Aussies buy it ! Millennial's are being conned , bit they can see the wood for the trees , because they're too busy taking selfies 🤳

@@johnniethepom7545 I'm more than happy to have an endless supply of educated migrants, I'm talking about refugees that need to be housed. Putting newly arrived broke people into public housing is keeping our homeless on the waiting list

Kwin! I used to chat to her regularly when I worked in the city in 2008-2010 and I'm so happy to see her again, and glad to hear she's got a roof and a letterbox ❤

@@_suse_ She’s one of the “lucky” ones and is still working the same corner in front of McDonald’s.

I can tell from her underlying accent that she comes from a good background. Battery Point was the monied suburb of Hobart back in the day. She probably moved straight from home into her husband's home and was financially dependent upon him.

Used to see her a lot when I was a kid. I feel bad I think I was rude to her once as a kid. I'm sorry for that.

She still works that corner every weekend, so perhaps you should pop by one night, have a chat snd make a contribution. I spoke with her a few weeks ago and she loves a chat. It’s also amazing how well she has recovered from her stroke.
