I would never let my mother in the street if she was clean and it was safe to do so, but not around my children. Likely the daughter wasn't raised by her mother. When America experienced lower poverty rates than any other advanced democracy, local governments designated specific areas known as "Settlers' Landings." These areas were intended for people across the country who intentionally left their previous homes behind in search of improved living standards. They allowed them to exchange ideas and share their creativity to progress in resettling. This initiative aimed to facilitate the exchange of ideas and promote creativity to advance society. In contrast, a sign of the times is that civic authorities now employ "Social Identity Deconstruction," which many people perceive as a form of isolation and humiliation. The California author Jack London captured the stark contrast between the "Homeless" and the American Settler tactic in his observation: "Class supremacy can rest only on class degradation," as expressed in his work, "The People of the Abyss."

US govt just approved 91 Billion for Ukraine and Isreal but we can not put tax paying citizens into housing? Edited to add quote Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children. The cost of one modern heavy bomber is this: a modern brick school in more than 30 cities. It is two electric power plants, each serving a town of 60,000 population. It is two fine, fully equipped hospitals. It is some fifty miles of concrete pavement. We pay for a single fighter with a half-million bushels of wheat. We pay for a single destroyer with new homes that could have housed more than 8,000 people. . . . This is not a way of life at all, in any true sense. Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from a cross of iron.[1][5] Dwight D Eisenhower
@Cobracommander19869 ай бұрын
@ctgal9698 of course she has. Etheir when she owned a home when she was younger and more successful. If she didnt own a home, she paid sales tax her entire life. My point is we can pay for wars, give big business tax breaks ( trick down does not work) and give others counties money but NOT help a us citizen. Instead of giving Ukraine or Isreal money, start a New Deal like Rosevelt for infrastructure. Stop sending money aboard and focus on United States.

U.S.A. GOVERNMENT and President Joseph Biden and Vice President Karmala Harris should watched this video 📹 and they should give money 💰 to our own US citizens who some of them are homeless. Stopped ✋️ giving away our taxpayers dollars 💸 to help out foreign countries and restarted taking care of the homeless Americans citizens in this country. Because the U.S.A has already pasted a bill into law last week to give a $ 100 .00 Billion Dollars 💸 💰 to give financial aid to Israel 🇮🇱 , Ukraine 🇺🇦, and Taiwan 🇹🇼 . Shouldn't that money stay within the United States of America and help out our own citizens 🤔? Think about this folks 🤔.

@@dollface3223 Not true. There are several stories of people paying tithes to their churches for their entire lives and then when it came time to have a funeral or bury them, the church refused to do anything for them. Ms. Yolanda is suffering from a broken heart. It is not for a person, per se. It is for herself and what she lost. I think she should take a chance and move in with her daughter if she doesn't want to go into the shelter. Stay there, get the disability check started, and use it as income to qualify for a place. The shelter will help you do that too, but this going back and forth is going to continue to tire her out. She doesn't want to leave the tent because she doesn't want to leave that man, and she doesn't want to go into a shelter because she can't be together with that man. They both need to go into their shelters, get on a program that is usually for 6 months and sometimes for 18 months if you have a drug dependency, and take it from there. I know about these things because I used to be homeless. I just cried watching this video because I can sense her heart is hurting.

As long as whatever she is doing is working, she will remain in it. She can easily go live with her daughter, keep her kids, sign up for disability and other social services, and then transition into some housing or at least be put on the list. She has options, and that man is not doing anything. You didn't see him bringing anything back or money or doing any help with her. He's an anchor, but she's not going to give him up.
