I like watching these runs as I drift asleep, not that they're boring or anything but the spontaniety coupled with Haelian's familiar and mostly calm voice in storytelling mode just puts my brain in a meditative state.

Recently I got an insane curse of drowning run on talos fists, i got just about every good boon you can think of: sea storm, jolted, flurry cast, hyper sprint, *MERCIFUL END*, impending doom, dire misfortune, exposed, and probably some other boons I forgot to mention. Needless to say that daddy lasted about 30 seconds in phase 3 due to my moistness. (Edit) if anyone is curious about this run, I have a terrible quality 30 second video of it on my channel.

It took me about 8 runs in a row, specifically going for Curse of Drowning (to complete the fates) and when I did finally get it, I ended up getting 5 other duo's that run to get my first ever Duo Digger Victory message

One things I was told with driving. Is never break check but if you even put a tiny amount of pressure on your brake peddel the lights come on before the breaks activeate. It gets them to back off and isnt likely to cause a crash.

I've never understood the concept of break checking? Where you test the driving ability of someone who you already asses to be a poor driver.
@Micras082 жыл бұрын
I'd wager that people who break check have VERY fragile egos. Maybe they are afraid that they themselves are bad drivers, or it could be that they are just massive tools o.O A three-way combo is also possible I guess.

@@Haelian I have a little Ford Focus and I was behind a Ford F250 pickup. This guy was brake checking me non stop, and yelling at me out his window (couldn't hear him) and he kept looking between the road and his mirror (at me). This happened yesterday and I still have no idea what I did to piss him off. When I went to pass him he swerved his pick up like he was trying to hit me. It was bizarre. All I could think of was "this is the kind of guy who probably beats his wife".

You can also get seastorm with curse of drowning and it works exactly how you think it's just extra damage for the cast. It would have been great here because he got Poseidon legendary.

I'm laughing to myself when you confirmed you're from New England the accent def helped too, cause I was listening to the driving shit and was like "wow this sounds like the exact bullshit I deal with in Mass" driving sucks and we got some of the worse drivers here I swear my driving teacher would always tell us "stupid has a license"

So glad to hear someone share my feelings about driving. Living in rural Illinois you have to drive to get anywhere and it sucks even if we don't have to deal with city traffic. EDIT: So you and the chat mentioned public transport, and while I do agree we need better public transport, nearby where I live we've seen a large increase in crime in otherwise safe neighborhoods because of public transport becoming easier. Criminals would hop onto the tram, go to the new city, steal and then hop back onto the tram to head home. Eventually they installed cameras, but that didn't do anything. Nowadays you get told not to use public transport unless you want to get stabbed or shot. Maybe if we did make public transport easier and have more incentives to use it and bring more people that the crime rate would go down, but it'll be hard to get rid of that initial stigma.

18:00 Another advantage of roundabouts is that you can screw up without much cost. You can't figure out your exit? Just keep going in the circle. who the hell is going to stay in the circle long enough to tell you are an idiot?

I’m really into city planning (as a hobby) so America and Canada (I’m Canadian) infuriate me since in the 60s they took well designed city’s flattened them and made them work only if everyone drove which made them not work anymore. I’ll be honest it pisses me off so much that if I had an actual job the would make me wanted I would have already moved to Europe.
@Bigcountry44152 жыл бұрын
Old city’s in Europe are terrible for driving however that was because they were designed to walk. My favourite designed cities are probably in the Netherlands.

Totally agree on driving bro. Like it when not ruined by bad drivers, which is most drivers. Roundabouts are theoretically better, like if we had good self driving cars. But stoplights are needed because people are dumb. Also, AI is getting pretty amazing at driving actually. Not the stuff in Teslas for years, but the experimental Tesla software. You can find videos online. Still needs some work but in some ways is already better than most humans.

I hate car centric cities so much. I just want decent public transport but the car companies "lobby" for laws. (Elon's Hyperloop instead of a rail) self driving cars will never fix the root cause of transport sucking visited Copenhagen and getting around with the trains (which come like every 5 minutes) and a bicycle is so convenient and great

15:50 false, self driving cars would solve 90% of traffic problems, these people have no idea what they're talking about. Traffic is caused by limitations in communication between drivers and people staggering their acceleration. Namely caused by intersections where these are most common.
