On the cheato note, I’ve been growing for a long time without tumbling. If tumbling was required all those people growing it in the back of their AIO tanks wouldn’t have success due to a lack of tumbling. Much love and happy reefing!

Dude! I totally had 53Vac in my Quarantine/Observation tank. My tangs got HLLE and I did EVERYTHING except put my multi-meter in the water and wall-ground socket. Poor bastards, and I work in electronics... I unplugged one thing after another and got down to 4.5Vac with nothin connected. I figured a few months of salt creep and air stone salt splash was picking it up someplace. The solution now present in all 7 tanks now is a $15 titanium probe. Even my Neptune COR-20 in another tank put out 4 Vac. Probes save lives! (And water tests). I solved my problem after 1 last time reading Humble.fish HLLE warnings. This time I didn’t ignore #1, and the only CONFIRMED” cause of HLLE. It was 53Vac and negligible amperage which is why no shock. Killed my new sailfin and hurt my Purple who is recovering and happy now.

Hey Marc! Missed it live but this time instead of having a baby I'm setting up my store this weekend for opening day witch is Monday. I plan to move my 55 gallon tank to the retail shop! Speaking of gotta get back to it!

Hey mark my birthday is coming up nov 3rd which is one year with my tank, I’ve been fighting cyano covering every surface since I set it up. I have kept my maintenance up and testing my nutrients and manual removal for months. I can’t seem to get it to go away. I tried chemi clean months ago and it didn’t make a dent. Any suggestions so I can finally add some coral?

90% of the time the reason for wires to burn up is a loose connection. I would check all the screws that attach the wires to the thermostats and all the wire nut connections. The only other possibility is a thermostat stuck on which Home Depot will have and easy enough to replace. There is a upper and lower.
