There are black and female governors in many states where the state houses are almost completely filled with white republican men. Governorship is one of the few places they havnt successfully gerrymandered the politics. And governors of states with a supermajority in their state house are almost completely powerless anyway. The real war for America's soul happens in those state legislatures, and those are the least-publicized campaigns.

So they want the two sides to talk about extreme things and to have both sides point fingers at each other instead of pointing up where they take more and more of the profits generated. In order to dumb folks down, they intentionally reduce public education funding. That's why we have massive publicity campaign of the US being number one as well as the American dream. After the IVF decision was released senator (can’t remember his name but from Alabama and was a football coach) was asked about his opinion on the ruling, he agreed with the ruling and said we need to have more kids or something like that, when the reporter then asks but IVF is intended to help people have more kids and now it’s stopped in the state of Alabama, he repeated we need to have more kids. Almost a brain glitch. A lot of men thought abortions were had only by people with sexual proclivities but did not know the nuances. Women are not even encouraged to speak up because cultures make such things hush hush. Men should not be the ones to make laws pertaining to women’s bodies.

So I appreciate the reasoning to empower women but logically thinking about this from my own perspective I don't see education as the great equalizer. Women have an innate value that allows for them be less educated less evolved and still be of high status, especially if they are good looking. A man has to be much more educated and go through much more character development to be a high status man. If the argument is that women have less role models to choose from in the space of high status politics and business then it is a function of being already higher status than a man and so there will always be men that HAVE to strive for more in order to survive the game.
@JK-ck4er9 ай бұрын
I think the problem is women are not seen in society as having innate value outside of the home so they are not respected enough to be given the choice to make their own decisions…that’s where education comes in. The social structure of society needs to change still where women along with men. That would take some doing but it all starts at home from a young age…

When you say inequality, are you referencing the male the went out and created something from nothing that refuses to just hand over control to a woman for absolutely no reason or are you talking about the feminist movement that fails to go out and create for themselves which they can then control like they so badly say they want to do? My wife did not face any obstacles pursuing her education. She was allowed to attend school just like every other woman. My wife did not enconter any obstacles when she decided to pursue her own business venture. The quality of her work was the only thing that was judged. So please...please clarify for my the inequality you are speaking of? I am not a fan of Melinda at all but I believe her message is to empower woment to go out and create for themselves, not just simply demand things be given for the sake of gender.

Lastly, to American sisters, when men tell you that everything is already equal, and you should just give up fighting for more, do you really believe that, and call it a day? I don’t think anyone knows how much Melinda French Gates really has after her divorce. She has stocks worth 10billion and as far as I know, after she received those she sold just enough so any moves she made with any other money she would not have to report because her total sum was under the required amount to report… anyway my point is, since she had done that, for all we know she could be giving away money and we don’t know about it because she doesn’t have to report it… I mean Chuck Feeney, gave away a total of 8.1 billion of his money and only kept enough to live off of. For every 100,000 he gave away he kept $20 or 30 of that. It definitely is ideal to do. I think people should give her a chance and see what she does, hopefully people can speak up more about her and whatever good deeds she may have done. 🤷🏻♀️

@@zzzzzz3708 I think you missed my point that female contestants on a "reality" show are not a good example of the real world. Although, perhaps for some female Republican party members it's pretty accurate.

Yes, because talking about education, woman’s rights in developing nations, etc is so hypocritical. This woman has donated literally billions and billons of dollars for truly positive endeavors. I can sort of understand being mad at rich selfish people, but you got the wrong people with Conan and Melinda Gates.

@@alexyoungbased I think you need to research how the Gates' money worked and its horrendous influence on education before putting a label such as 'right or wrong' on humans you don't know.

I liked Conan a lot, but this is disgusting. Promoting women to focus on money than having children. This episode is everything that is wrong with America. No one opposes education to women, but saying delay having kids and marriages is just utterly disgusting. They really think and brain wash women by telling them they are not smart enough to handle kids and carrier.

NO ONE OPPOSE EDUCATION TO WOMEN? are you leader of some cult? why men can focus on money but women can't? because of marriage and pregnant? you cannot force women to do those things. they can work, they can make money, they can refuse to get marry and have a child. why? because women are same human as men, have a free will. do you think its only for america? no! it's world trend except undeveloped countries where women are unable to be educated. plus they don't want to get married because people like you. angry for no reason, blame women for everything. you ruin yourself
