I just got my small gabby from the 19s collection last week. It was a bit of an impulse/unplanned purchase so I have not unboxed it have been on the fence about keeping it. I’m so happy to search reviews on here and realized you had one! If it’s good enough for Mel, then it’s definitely great enough for me. ☺️ You’re right, it is one that grows on you overtime as it is different than most Chanel bags. Seeing as Chanel did push at it being unisex was amazing! Although I feel the Reissue is fairly unisex; as well. Lovely video, Mel! I'm not the biggest fan of the larger sizes, but the mini is so adorable!

Hi Mel~ this is the video that I made up my mind I confirmed I want it and in same size, and finally I got it~ If I wear it cross body, I find it is slightly shorter (we are same height) if I put the leather part of the chain at the bottom, hence it looks like a "handle" of the bag. Another way I like is, for the most easiest way of double strips on single shoulder, instead of putting all the chains (4 chains) on one shoulder, you can drop one of the chain (either the silver or gold) down at the bag, the drop chain will accessorize the bag, and the whole styling will look more casual. ;)

The cross backpack was my favorite version of carrying the bag. As soon as I saw you loading your bag I immediately thought of the Lady Dior bag except the Chanel bag is more flexible with softer angles rendering it more functional for loading and carrying objects. Apparently you agree. It's been a while since I've treated myself to Chanel and since Dacob broke his ban so did I and treated myself to the Chanel small Trendy CC with the dual handle. I didn't venture too far considering the purse is lambskin and it demonstrates many of the Chanel classic features. However, I did make one exception (which is a biggie for me) and overlooked the fact that the handbag was made in Italy. But that's our secret. We won't tell Dacob 😉😂😂. Enjoy your gorgeous addition to your Chanel collection. You made an excellent choice.

My favourite way to wear it is to make it into a sort of top handle. Similar to the way you wore it by twisting the chain until it dangled, except you leave the leather area out instead!

I have one in black and love love it so much 😍. I adjusted the strap so the ending won’t stick out and it is perfect. You can adjust the strap, it a little bit difficult to adjust but it is doable and won’t hurt the bag. Just don’t adjust it too often.

Hi Tabby! Yay congrats on your new bag lovely! In general metallics are not known to be durable but it really depends on the brand and how the metallic has been applied. As the gabby is in crinkled calfskin, I'm hoping that it is more durable but I don't think any metallic bags should be used as a daily bag. I did have an issue with my silver Diorever bag but my silver Chanel caviar mini is still going strong with no problems at all. I actually don't condition any of my bags. I normally just use that white glove that Chanel provides to buff out any superficial scratches and just to polish the bags every month. In saying that I do rotate my bags a lot! lol I hope that helps sweetie! ❤️
