I can’t believe you’ve already had this bag for a year! The base is definitely durable but my biggest concern is the top portion and how slouchy it gets - but I do love the v-style of wearing it as well! It looks so cool and comfy 💕

My Daily Sweet i have had mine for some time now, and for me i can say that the bottom part isn't that worrying, but the top half is a bit more concerning, but i think it depends on the size you get... ( i have the large and it's doing pretty fine in my opinion...)

Time flies! It just depends on the size you get. My one has no crumbling to speak of because it's so tiny!

For me who has the Gabrielle in large, i do agree that the wear and tear is faster with the softer part, but so far i haven't had any scratches in the bottom part. It is my first designer bag and i definetly am NOT disappointed, the versatility, design is amazing✨

The only thing that is kind of annoying with the large, is that when you want to wear it as a long crossbody, the soft part will loose it's shape really fast! But except that, and for some people maybe the creasing ( though i don't mind it, i knew it beforehand that it will be unevitable) i love it ✨♥️

Can’t wait to get mine a few months - your first video made me want this! It’s such a beautiful bag! I don’t like the flap bags, find it annoying to to be lifting and closing so I sold my woc and mini Rectangle. I think I will love the zipper style of this!

I received and opened my Small Gabrielle today! I got it for a BIG birthday but couldn't wait 8 days to open it when I can start using it for a little romantic weekend in San Diego this week. Hi Amy your reviews really helped me and I have it in both small and medium. It wasn’t a bag I liked at first sight but really grew on me!! I agree it’s a fun bag and the chains are so pretty !! The only thing I find a bit frustrating is the small opening. My fave way to wear it is also in the V - so comfortable and helps with weight distribution and security !!

My small black chevron version has no wear/tear after 7 months, even after using it 3 weeks straight on holiday. You style it so well in your OOTDs. I didn’t love this bag when it first came out but I can’t get off my mind. I’ve decided the small is the best size for wear and tear in my mind. You’re right that size and color combo are hard to find preloved. I need to bite the bullet and just buy it, you style it so well. Hi Amy! Thanks for your review, i am so in love with this bag now! From hate to love.. i got it in the medium size in all black because i want to use it as a work bag. I feel this chanel bag is just so refreshing and different as most of the chanel bags are always in flaps and i find it harder to get in and out of your bag. The zippy on the gabrielle is so smooth and easy to reach for my items!

Actually my zipper is also in gold, the pull is ruthenium and the cc charm is antique gold. I love the gabrielle, I"m wearing it today :)

Thanks for the review in such a great detail. I wanted to get it in Dec 2017 when I got my classic flap. At the time, Gabrielle was priced at $4125+tax. Now it has gone up so much..... I still want to get it though and I want it in black as well

hi! does anyone know what exactly is the hardware on the gabrielle? aged/ matte gold? I have a gabrielle cardholder and you can see the hardware is a little “distressed”, some silver are showing from the GHW. I’ve seen pictures of new boy bags having the same hardware but no one ever talks about it, so I don’t know whether it is normal :,( thank you in advance!

This bag and the crocodile one are in high demand. They're hard to find and if you do find them, be prepared to pay big bucks especially in the second hand market. Took me awhile to source one and many were asking for retail price or a little below it. they have good resale value though! :D

Both are fashionable and iconic but it depends on your preference too. I personally find the boy bag bulky and I much prefer how the gabrielle looks and feels especially in the small size.

I don't like the WOC so I would personally pick the Gabrielle. Having said that if you only need a super mini bag most of the time, then a woc is a better option for you and it is a lot more affordable and retains value relatively well too.

In my opinion, you should go for small size, it'll look better with your body shape and if you don't have to carry a lot stuffs, small size is definitely the best choice xx

Love the Gabrielle small hobo! I got the white & black one first because I already have many black bags. I love it so much and got so much use out of it. I ended up getting it in the ice blue color (19P) also. Will you ever consider buying a second one in different color? :P

Thanks so much for this video. I have the Gabrielle hobo in the medium with the beige/black. I am looking to get this bag but I can’t seem to take the plunge on the price. It has definitely increased over The year. Thank you thank you. Love this video. Very helpful. Btw- just an FYI; I think that leather strap inside the bag has it in all of the Gabrielle’s. My medium has it and I don’t really use it either.
