Hi mel! My mom owns a pair of aloha sandals and she faced the exact same issue. Hers was warped and completely out of shape. She brought back into the store in Singapore and managed to receive store credits! I do believe its a quality issue with those black sandals.

For myself, Hermes shoes are VERY expensive, and also VERY uncomfortable! I am normally easy to fit 36 or 37. I will never buy another pair. There are so many more beautiful shoes, that are just as well made, and so much more comfortable.

As always, great, honest reviews. I love my Orans in leather, and my suede Chypre sandals. I am about to buy ankle boots from them this year. As far as sneakers, I have not yet found something I REALLY liked from Hermès. I will, however, get a pair of the rubber sandals for the beach, and thank you for telling me about the issue with the Aloha sandals because I was about yo buy them!

@@MelinMelbourne The Chypre were somewhat of an impulse buy - my husband and I each got a pair in different colors. As far as the boots, the Neo boots in suede. You are great!

Thank you for sharing. This video helps a lot. I have multiple colors of the Orans and a pair of the suede Oasis that I haven’t worn yet. While chatting with a seasoned Hermes lover, she recommend getting the suede shoes for comfort when they are offered. After breaking in my Orans, the leathers make a difference. The Orans with the stitching were made for narrower feet in my opinion.

I have the Aloha flip flops and the only issue I have had with them is that they rub on my big toe. I use moleskin on the top to minimize chafing. I like the Orans, they are comfortable but you do have to break them in. I ran in a rainstorm with them, they handled the water or, but are slightly wider ( and I dried them ASAP.). I like the Oasis sandals, except when I am walking downstairs, they make a lot of noise.😮

I agree I don't find the Orans comfy either I much prefer the Oasis too! Have you tried the Volver boot Mel?

I just got a pair of the chypre sandals in shearling and it’s sooooo comfortable and cute. I love my Uggs and wear slippers all winter so I decided to go with an elevated slipper for the summer. My orans I wear sometimes only because I don’t feel secure in them. I think it might be the design or that I have to size down half or even try a different material. I also have the extra sandals and they’re comfortable as well.

Omg @melinmelbourne the Oasis sandal is my favorite too and I have the same pair I gold calfskin! They are divine! The way they make my feet look slimmer and legs look longer, ugh. So good! The gold however, I do find rather dark compared to other gold colors they carry in their other leathers. I have the gold reversible belt and it always irks me that they aren’t EXACTLY the same shade of gold. First world problem, I know😅

My pleasure my dear! That ring is also from Hermes. It’s called the Ariane ring in the large model. I love it because it’s a little different and the H logo is very subtle Xx

I have the Paris Loafers in Black - I loved the look and liked them because not everyone has them. I owned Gucci loafers and they are so comfy - the Paris loafers I had to size up considerably and found them so uncomfortable and tight when i bought them. They eventually broke in and now mold to my feet and are amazing. Be patient they do break in and are so comfy.

This was a fabulous vlog! It’s so difficult to purchase shoes from any brand on-line because the sizing varies so much but your Hermes shoes are lovely. Btw, you could most definitely become a hand model!! 💛

Hiii mel i’m not sure if u have them but the alexander mcqueen oversized sneakers look really similar to the voltage sneakers u have! U should try them on if u haven’t gotten them yet! I’ve worn them every single day in the past half a year cuz they r so comfortable 😍❤️❤️ I’m not sure if u consider them heavy tho or if they r as heavy as the voltage ones but u should absolutely try them on if u get the chance to! I’m planning to get the black version next haha 😂

I don’t like my Oran that much, not very comfortable! Oasis are a big yes! I absolutely love the Glamour, they are absolutely comfy! Day Sneakers had been a hit for me. Other booties I love are The Hommage and the Jenna 60. I now would like a pair of high boots but I need a heel, so we’ll see.

I hate the Oran's. My foot is narrow and it slides right through. I find that these sandals are meant for medium feet.

Ankle straps in general make your legs look shorter. If you must get them it's preferable to get a nude tone that is close to your own skin colour. The white ankle strap ones are a shocker. The wedges aren't edgy enough they're old fashioned looking and too dressy. These days people want chunky, casual and comfortable with summer dresses and very much keep it simple. If you have a narrow foot the pressure will be on the ankle rather than distributed in the front sides. You can buy innersoles for the ball of the foot to stop stretching and floating around in the front of the shoe (toe box) or forcing the toes into the front. A strap over the instep is stabilising.

I ordered a pair of Oasis a few weeks ago and I was so excited because they looked like a baby pink color in the picture (and the name had pink in it). They arrived and were very comfortable but I was so disappointed because the color was not pink at all, but more like a flesh color and blended into my foot. I was so disappointed and had to return them. There wasn't another color I liked for an exchange 🙁
