yes our child Eireann's Child. Always loved her always will She is such an example of a woman feminine strong caring delicate. I did not know she died. .. I was learning IRISH songs ... Foggy Dew she sang it amazingly. and in the midst of me looking up her songs. for days prior. .. this blurb she has died .. i thought is was some sick mistake. IT is a mistake. Nothing compares to Sinead..

..but not always treated well by Ireland...yes she was quiessentially Irish and embodied Irishness in many ways but was not always treated well by all in Ireland so lets not sugar coat it or pretend she was always appreciated or treated well in her own country.

Was Sinead delicate? I would say can be vulnerable, but she was not a wilting flower

She may have had her troubles here but we always loved her and tried to protect her. She was quintessentially Irish and there are many here like her. So we understood her. We don’t tend to “sugar coat” and yes she could be vulnerable but delicate describes her better I think. 🇨🇮

I'm from Dublin seen and met Sinead many times, She was truly way ahead of her time and her biggest downfall if you wanna call it that was to speak the truth especially as a woman here when society just wanted to close there ears.. She will be sadly missed and like so many times people only realise other's importance when its to late.. RIP Sinead rest easy beautiful flower🙏💚☘

She was just amazing woman!! Certainly not a one off, this woman was a true warrior and stood up for everything she believed in. Not many people can do that. It’s such a shame we lost her. We would not have lost her hat her son died in 2017 by suicide. This really took it out of her, God bless her I know she’s happy now!

… beautiful heartfelt tribute from Melissa, thank you ☘️Shane, Sinéad’s son only died Jan 2022… for her it was raw pain… you are correct though…she probably would be still physically here if that tragedy hadn’t come into her life…Sinéad rest in peace 🌻

Very nice performance, when Sinead tried to tell the world about church abuse it would not listen. after that her claims came to be true. Here in Ireland they took babies from mothers and sold them to the rich from around the world, RIP Sinead .
@upendasana7857
@upendasana7857 Жыл бұрын
The abuse was happening all over the world in the Catholic church and also in Cof E churches too where women had their children taken from them or they were ut into asylums often lifelong. Yes the chruch in Ireland had its own brand of theocracy and fear and shaming of people and particualrly women. But the Catholic diosces all over the world were found later to be covering up child abuse and moving perpetrator priests around the world which sinead talked about later when the reports came out 10 years or so later. She was she said talking about the overall hold the church had in Ireland and how it often lead to child abuse as it ruled with fear and making people feel ashamed,at the time she said she was not aware of the full extent of child sexual abuse that was going on and had only read a small pieces in a paper by families who had tried to report it.

The world suffered and suffers from the abuse of the Catholic Church, the raping of vulnerable children, the grift, the lies, the beatings of children, the “homes” where children WORLDWIDE have suffered and the hands of this hideous religion and its immoral cruel catholics. They should all hang their heads in shame.

Sinead bravely stood for truth and we can best honor her by standing up for her with the truth... The truth is that Sinead O'Connor's obvious suffering was not caused by "mental illness." It was caused by the people who intentionally hurt her and neglected her, not only in her childhood but also throughout her adult life, and it was caused by a severe lack of support in the process of healing from those painful experiences and regaining confidence in her own sanity... The truth is that Sinead was crushed by "mental health" institutions that repeatedly labeled her and prescribed harmful pharmaceuticals, instead of helping her to heal... and by a music industry that tried to force her into what they wanted her to be for them, instead of letting her be her authentic self... and by the media that unfairly judged and degraded her and manipulated people against her... and by the masses of "fans" who swung against her instead of being kind and considerate... and by the many people who neglected her or could not love her the way she needed to be loved and should have been loved...etc. She often pretended that the lashings and cruel judgments were not hurting her, because they cut her too deep. She was more than just her songs or the rebel or that tough wall she was forced to erect around her sensitive heart. She was a human being with human needs. No matter how Sinead actually physically died; the truth is that her life was slowly snuffed out by the heartlessness that exists in humanity's dark closets. Her son's death was just the last blow in a very long chain of painful blows. The truth is that Sinead was too blatantly real and honest and wise and caring for the shallow and evil parts of humanity. And those parts that convinced her that she was crazy and wrong and not OK the way she was deeply hurt her in ways that are immeasurable. Humanity must face its own faults and wrong doings, in order to do better in the future. And Sinead's real life story is one of its many opportunities to do this.

Morrissey was right about all of these people. They're all sharing their ego fueled stories and slobbering with praise. But where were they when she was publicly shamed and discarded, year after year. Your words meant nothing Etheridge. You just filled up a moment in your boring show. No to mention you're singing a song that was not hers. She wrote far better songs than this pandering crap.

I think everyone was blinded and never really understood what sinead was fighting for because no one is paying that much attention, only this time that everyone starting to truelly understand and process the message of sinead Sinead planted a seed that wasnt meant to be understood in his time but people are waking up now... Just like how Jesus was crucify for teaching us the way to God his message was never really understood in his time but was understood there after

Wow I couldn’t agree more. Well done you for saying it. Plus what a horrible rendition of that song anyway. Jesus it was woeful. Sinead had so many great songs but the sad and teary people on hear just know her for the one obvious one. The girl was so talented with every song she sang. Super duper amazing voice like nobody could copy. Infact her nothing compares to you is so much better than princes’ version and that man was an absolute genius
