how you doing today? Your post is 2 years old, so I was just curious. I "put the plug in the jug" back in 2002. not sure of the month & day. Woke up from a black out at an AA, and did look at a calendar until some time later, like around august. So August 3rd I use as my AA B-day, though I know I was there much earlier.

Damn.. Touching story.. I like listening to story's like this. So connected with her feelings and the power to carry that out. Very inmpressive and wonderfull. Some times I feel disconnected with my deeper emotions but after a long sobriety things seem to heal. Doing my 10th step. Writing out my feelings and getting connected again. Speakers like Melissa (love U) help me recover and find my way thru the (clearing) mist of my 20 year addiction.... Love NA.. Pease to U all

RICK anthony when you get clean you get happy again and make jokes about when you used I know I do I have 3 years off heroin well off everything but I was a heroin iv userfor 12 years and I laugh at my stories now too.. she had a great message I don't think she mAde fun of recovery at all..
