when a man sexually assaulted me, it was a man i was close friends with, who mistook my acquaintance for reciprocated feelings. then it became hard for me to keep in contact with my family, friends, my loved ones, when worst came to worst I was all alone with my emotional state. thanks for your words, and vulnerability.

if I got paid for all of my emotional labor I'd have like a lot of money I would get a hundred different wigs made out of exotic horse hair to match all of my moods I'd replace all my teeth with tiny iPhone I'd pay all of the tall people and people making out a chose to stand in the back because I'm bitter I'd wear lipstick made out of gold dust I get a full body tattoo of my body and put it on my own body I go to therapy I get medicated huh I finally get a pony and hire someone to take care of my pony I'd ride my pony on the street so everybody be jealous of my pony I send a thousand rainbow empanadas stuffed with nails to Mike Pence's house I'd hire an unassuming relatively attractive white man to follow me around so every time you don't believe me he can just repeat what I said so then like you do believe me I would replace my throat was one big revenge so would never get tired of yelling I'd make this scientifically possible I would buy my mom something nice to wear I'd buy my mom a house in a place that smells like oranges I'd make sure my little sister finishes school I'd never be hungry I'd give my Abuelita all of the calling cards in the world if I had a nickel for every time I stayed up too late for someone who would never wake up for me a dollar for every minute I tried to make a sad man feel less sad a penny for every time I had to bend and stretch to prove to someone that I'm here that I exist my heart would rattle and shake with all of the coins spilling back into it I would stop digging around in my pockets for pieces of myself covered in I blew my soul piggy bank back together I give her a kiss I'd put her back on the shelf I'd only worry about saving myself I'd never feel like any of this was my fault or like I owed you one again

It sounds to me you are trying to impress the wrong person. A man can be strong and still give a woman the respect and love she deserves. A really smart man will take sound advice from a woman. A wise man will cherish a woman all of their days. Yes, a man and a woman, in no particular order.

To me it sounds like she was just shouting this poem, it's a very funny poem but I think she needs to tone it down a bit and put a few more pauses in the right places.
