I like her and she can sing and act, but an Oscar? She is a decent actor, but not a Merrill Streep? She has a better chance at a Grammy if that. Those type of awards are difficult to achieve even for the greatest actors. Mia Farrow, Meg Ryan, Dennis Quaid, Hugh Grant, Donald Sutherland, John Cusack, John Goodman, etc. are all great actors and none have won an Oscar. I hope she does it and proves me wrong.

She`s good, but she`s no Carrie Underwood. I noticed she sang Alone by Heart, so did Carrie. But Carrie`s was so much better. That`s when Simon declared she would not only win it, but sell more music than any other idol. She even sang Alone on stage with Ann and Nancy Wilson.
