If you were to cover a darker version of it, alone, no girls voice, that would be awesome. Her voice is powerful and pretty but this pop goth sound, I don´t particularly like. Your low tones are sick and Joe always makes the best arrangements, so a real gothic version of Ain´t no sunshine, just Melodicka Bros this time... chef´s kiss. Mamma mia!

For example Russian band Arkona has no male vocals, their singer Masha can sing both clean vocals, growls, screams, just anything, given enough vodka :)

That flawless vocal fry Violet pulls off toward the end has me weak. Mad respect for a woman who can do a good vocal fry and *still* sound pretty (it's not easy to do that without hurting your throat and making your voice sound raw and crack if you try to sing normally after so it definitely takes some skill or guts at the very least). She was always a good singer but it feels like she has been only phenomenally improving.
