@Melody Walker. I love your song. This song says Jesus was a friend to all. He showed unconditional love to all, and in so doing showed his humanity and also preached against hate. (Listening to the whole song for the third time!!)

@calmaenlatormenta4811 Maybe the Jesus you know is full of bigotry and hate. The Jesus I know loves everyone. Regardless of whether they. are gay, transgender, or made mistakes in life. Jesus wants to be in our lives. He wants us to know him. No matter who we are. Jesus is not one of exclusion. He loves the addict, the homeless man on the corner, the prostitute. He is love and compassion.

I could be wrong, of course, it wouldn't be the first time, but if my memory serves Jesus died for all kinds of "abominations." Most use a shorter word like "sins." Jesus wasn't very concerned about what people wore and he certainly wouldn't care much about fashion, period. His concern was more about things that are buried deep in the human heart and psyche, buried deep because people don't want to believe there is anything "bad" about themselves. I'm a Christian and I don't always know what I believe because I don't/can't/won't retreat to the supposed safety of taking the entire Bible literally. I follow Jesus as much as I can, read what he had to say and ask a lot of questions. I'm pretty sure Jesus would prefer the company of the drag queens, queers and other supposed outcasts of society to the writers of the too-often-quoted verses of Deuteronomy. Jesus wasn't and isn't about LAW. Jesus was and is about LOVE. I think Jesus reflects every word of this song, Deuteronomy be damned.

Have you heard of metaphor? Jesue is variously described as a seed, light, a shepherd, and a door. Jesus hung around prostitutes, tax-collectors and others considered by the pearlclutching religious elite. He was thought to be mad & demon possessed. It's not much of a stretch to suppose that if Jesus was around today he would spend more time with the queers & drag queens than with today's religious elite.

Oh good lord. It’s a metaphor. Priests in biblical times were considered closer to God if they acknowledged their male and female spirits. They ALL worry extravagant robes and jewelry with painted faces. The Bible we know today was completely revised in the King James era to suit the political climate of that time. The water to wine wedding was between and uncle and his nephew. John the Baptist lived with a man. Ruth and Naomi were married. They turned Jesus’s wife into a whore. Mary Magdalene was the most important part of his entourage and the mother of his children. Bible study classes would teach you this.

Unbelievable! We need to pray this singing group to know the real Jesus. He was in the world, but not of the world. GOD IS HOLY! We as Christians live among the tares and the goats. Think about that.
@belovernightcore957 Жыл бұрын
Jesus repeatedly refers to Himself as the Son of Man. By claiming this title, Jesus aligns Himself with the prophetic figure from Daniel's vision and emphasizes His dual nature as both human and divine. The point isn't to be above or under divinity. The point is to not judge, give love, and spread peace such as he. If you want to "know jesus" I think hugging a stranger is closer than preaching ever will be.❤ Jesus didn't care about what made people different, he cared about what we share. Such as the want to be loved and express love. Again, that might help bring you closer to god than your last sermon did.😊❤ Try to spread joy, not judgment. "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." (Mathew 7:1-2) Have a blessed day.😁
