My dad got to meet him. He was working at the cafeteria at cal tech (the college he went to) and Stephen Hawking was there. He got to serve him and he specifically asked for plain rice (true story). My father passed when I was 9 due to suicide. I like to think they are together in heaven. Stephen is Such an inspiring man. He is with the stars now.

Easily the best KZbin video I have ever and will ever watch. This video made me tear up the first time I watched it, and I don't cry a lot. This man was a legend, trapped in his body yet free with his mind. I read "A Brief History of Time" and it is probably my favorite book ever, my mind was blown countless times. I hope that if and when we take to the stars, we will remember the name Hawking.
