America rules He was a conservationist fascinated by them. He cared for animals at his zoo. And who wouldn't love to explore, see animals up close in the wild. Discover so many things about them. He was a great man, who loved and respected all animals large and small. To say he "exploited" then is an insult.

@yatalachops You realize how many lifes he saved? "Pestering the animals" it's funny how y'all okay with hunting animals for sport and fashion but helping and saving species is when you cross the line lmao.
@JustAChinesePleb4 жыл бұрын
@yatalachops He didn't know about it? Have you never heard of the word accident? He went swimming there like hundreds of other people. You think he, a man that has been interested in animals his whole life wouldn't know about it? You think he was suicidal or something? And if you don't agree with hunting then maybe do some good and go pester them, because they actually hurt animals for fun, not a dead man that helped so many animals and loved them dearly. You're pathetic.
@brandonpaugh9224 жыл бұрын
The most true and saddest statement I've ever heard. I truly do feel bad, there's nobody that loves all animals as much as Steve. Everybody has an animal that there afraid of or can't stand. Mine is cats. Steve Irwin was afraid of parrots the most alongside hippos. The hippos are obvious why. He said that parrots had to bite him it was their job. LOL

Steve Irwin wasn't just larger than life. He was life. He embodied what we all aspire to be. He followed his passions and lived life to the extreme because he knew that we don't live forever. He just went for it everyday. He has left such an indelible impression on my life that I barely have the words to describe how much I miss this incredible human being after so many years. It doesn't matter what your faith is or lack thereof, but may he forever rest in peace and hope that his legacy will forever remain intact so long as we fight so hard to perserve the wildlife that we encroached upon. We are not here to consume and dominate this world. We are here to co-exist with the multitude of species that we are blessed to have evolved with.

I was in tears the day in school when I found out he died. My teacher had to give me a hug. Steve Irwin was legendary for me during my childhood. Every other program on Animal Planet was great, but when Crocodile Hunter came on I refused to leave for anything. I watched his shows down to the last detail and have never been informed of the nature of animals from anyone better than Steve. R.I.P.

For all I know, you could have a crazier life than Steve Irwin did. So, what exactly are you defensive over? Is that your best defense? An offense? *shakes head*

Don't cry - Don't cry - Don't. Nope. Nope. Nope. Too much. Steve Irwin was such a legend - there will never be a man like Steve. A man who loved animals so much he'd walk up to a damn crocodile, pick it up and kiss it on the head, and tell her how beautiful she was. No one pushed it to the limit like Steve Irwin, so much respect. His show was a big part of my childhood, and I still watch reruns today. "When I talk to the camera, mate, it's not like I'm talking to the camera, I'm talking to you because I want to whip you around and plunk you right there with me." Rest in Peace, Steve - Missing you always.

Steve's unwavering zeal for animals, & appreciation + understanding of them of course, is what I most respected the man for. He just wholeheartedly loved what he did. He's sorely missed. I would watch him all the time on Animal Planet, when news broke out of his death I near couldn't believe it. Steve was brilliant, brilliant in his own way.

Steve Irwin was my hero. I watched him on Animal Planet every day since I was 6 or 7. Throughout life whenever people asked me who i wanted to meet the most my answer has always been him. It makes me sad to think that a person like Steve isnt still around to show people the animal world that i find fascinating and interesting. One day I'll travel to the Australia zoo just so I could see the place that my hero worked and nurtured so passionately. It makes me immeasurably sad that I will never get to meet my hero but I hope his work will still influence the younger generations like it did for me and alot of other people around the globe. this video beautifully reflects how inspiring and wonderful this man was

This man was my hero. I use to watch everyday since I was 12. Throughout life whenever people asked me who i wanted to meet the most my answer has always been Scott Bakula. It makes me sad to think that a person like Scott isn't still around to show people the animal world that I find interesting and fascinating. One day I'll travel to the NCIS: New Orleans set just so I could see the place that my hero worked and nurtured so passionately. It makes me immeasurably sad that I will never get to meet my hero but I hope his work will still influence the younger generations like it did for me and a lot of other people around the globe. At the earliest age that I can remember, I always remembered getting on Animal Planet at my grandparent's house and watching Steve Irwin the Crocodile Hunter. For a very long period of time, I had followed him as I grew, loving all animals from stink bugs to worms, fish and frogs, to lizards and dogs. When he died I was in eighth grade and it struck me hard. Steve was the inspiration for me even today to love all animals- which is why I am working to become a zoologist and a conservationist just like him!! Thanks for inspiration Steve!!
