I don't believe that....I believe you can find your voice at any time in life as long as you are searching for it......but to find it while young, yes that is best. Gives you the most time. I believe traumatized children....i.e. abused kids, foster kids, adopted kids, orphans.......they are stunted so badly from the very beginning or from very early on, that it takes them extra time for just about everything. Which, sadly, makes for a somewhat frustrating life.....

I do not see the man with one eye but the man who was made stronger from it. You must look at everything from another point of view. Bluchster He didn't 'pass away', he gave up the fight, and took his own life. Loved the man, but his suicide is unforgivable. When someone with THAT MUCH love, support, and help takes their own life, what do you think that says to others who suffer from depression?
@LoboRundas9 жыл бұрын
+Link0304 You are in no position to judge him. It was his life, and as he didn't want to suffer any more, he ended it, simple as that. We suffer here after him, but in the end one can do nothing but accept what happened. Talking as a friend of a late person who commited suicide.
@dylanstephenson1779 жыл бұрын
Link0304 Screw you man. Screw you. Everyone knows about the depression, but know one knows about the other mental illnesses and hallucinations Robin went through. You don't understand the effects of all the medication he had to take and the way his mind attacked him on a daily basis. His life became a waking nightmare so don't you dare act like you think you know what he went through. He spent his life making people happy, so shut the hell up and go do something with your own life.
@Link03049 жыл бұрын
dylan stephenson When you commit suicide, you don't end your pain. You just take it and give it to everyone who ever cared about you. I don't find that acceptable, and I never will. Suicide is NEVER the answer.
@dylanstephenson1779 жыл бұрын
***** Maybe you don't, but some people believe in a life after death. A place to go when this horrible world we live in is too much. Suicide isn't good in any way, but you really don't know what he went through.

I miss him for his acting while alive. i don't care that "christinas" think he will come into hell for suicide. i don't believe in that stuff. he is dead. gone. away. and it hurts. the world has lost a great actor. that's what i miss him for.

Unless I'm mistaken, "that book" never says anything about going to hell if one commits suicide. I've heard some people say it, but I haven't found any Biblical context. What the Bible _does_ say is that nothing can separate us from God's love: life, death, angels, demons, height, depth, or anything else in creation. Now, I don't mean to give you any false hopes (if you do believe any of this.) Whether Robin Williams will go to heaven or not is anyone's guess, but I think you should know that he is in good hands.

My first time of seeing the brilliance of Robin Williams was on a little TV show called Happy Days. It was his first acting job on a television series and he got to play an alien named Mork. Producers were SO impressed with his performance that a new TV show was created for him. Thus was the beginning of "Mork & Mindy" starring Robin Williams and the beautiful Pam Dawber AKA Mrs. Mark Harmon (NCIS). They had 4 great seasons before the show was canceled. During M & M's, is when movie offers started coming in for Robin. Plus Comedy Relief with Whoopi Goldberg and Billy Crystal. For me, I'll always remember him as an innocent, sweet, and naive alien from the planet Ork. Nanoo, nanoo. 🖖

When I first heard of Robin's death, I cried...I cried as much as I did when Leonard Nimoy died, but for very different reasons. I am depressed, clinically. Sure, I have those days where I smile at the world...the days where I feel almost normal...Robin had a high IQ, and with a high IQ comes this inescapable ability to think, overthink, and re-think everything in life...and sometimes, all that thinking is an emotional drag..you want to see the best in the world..but you know that, in reality, the best in the world is scattered, limited, and dwindling..He was outwardly happy and uplifting..He was funny, witty, and that high IQ helped with his ability to think on the fly...but it also, as can be the case, be a burden to ones self. Robin was dying...he had a disease that little was known about..that little is still known about..Lewy Body Dementia. The symptoms came and went in such a way that it was hard to pin down the problem..and Robin would sometimes spend hours at a time unable to control his body...He was dying, and he felt the only relief he would have was to take his own life.. Maybe he thought it would be better to die while he still had the ability to control his own life...maybe he thought about his wife and children seeing him dwindle away into a shell of his former self, and didn't want them to suffer watching him decay, withering away, having a piece of him stolen each day by a disease he knew little about..He went out on his own terms...and it's sad.. I'm a man of voices, and always wanting to make those around me smile or laugh..I want people to feel better than I feel on a daily basis..When I heard he'd taken his own life..I felt fear, panic, loss...I looked up to the man...I modeled myself after him...the funny man...the loving, caring person, the wit, the compassionate philanthropist...I see a lot of Williams in myself..and it scares me that he got to a point where ultimately, he thought the only option was to end his own life in order to preserve the magic of who he was...he didn't want his family or his friends or his fans to see him dying...to see him losing bits of himself... Thank for the memories, Robin Williams..Thank you for being part of the childhood's of millions of adults who, to this day, see your work and still mourn you, knowing that there will never be another person quite like you..that nobody will grow up with new things to see from you... All we have now are memories...fond ones...of films that touched our hearts and minds..You made us laugh, you made us cry..you made us feel...Thank you..From the bottom of my heart, and the hearts of millions..Thank you...wherever you are...

The first ever Robin Williams movie I watched was R.V. And I loved him ever since, and my reason is the first movie I watched was with my dad. I never get to see my dad much anymore but whenever a Robin Williams movie comes on it reminds me of my dad. Also I remember saying to my dad wen I was 7 "Daddy can you take me to see Robin Williams one day." He said yes. I cried for a week straight when he died, and I still cry. R.I.P. Robin Williams you've made me the happiest person from day 1. I miss you.

It's amazing to me how many people feel the same way I do about this man - how much joy he brought them, that they felt they almost knew him, and that his passing has left a strange, sad void nothing seems to fill somewhere in their heart. The phrase "he will be missed" had been said often and about many people, but perhaps it rings no truer than when it's said about Robin Williams.

I think the tragedy of this legend is that he spent his life trying hard (and mastering) making people laugh that (...and I know you all wont like this...) He didnt take time out to connect with the God of all People. The one who gave life to Robbin Williams was not acknowledged, not by Robbin, not by those who admired Robbin. A life devoid of God is no life to live. He made us all laugh....for which we are grateful to Robbin, but don't be a victim of His fate by neglecting God. Read God's final Book: the Quran. Learn about His final messenger: Muhammad (peace be upon him)

Two years later.. I reposted it everywhere, never forget. Such a beautiful tribute even after all of the times I've watched it. To any naysayers, I'm pretty sure its Robin's voice, but made to sound as if he sung it with a synthesizer of sorts. All kinds of stuff like that can do almost anything. I like & appreciate how many of his movie roles were incorporated into this. I couldn't think of a more beautiful way to remember a person as special as him. 😙💜

Just finished watching Dead Poet Society for the first time. And had to come and watch this again. We really lost an amazing man when we lost Robin Williams. His message in that movie everyone should follow, you should not always conform to what everyone else wants, otherwise it's not your life, it's theirs.

What a horrible day when he died. I can only imagine those who knew him-not just the world- crying endlessly. What a sad horrible day. Made us laugh so hard because internally he was feeling agony. An agony that couldn’t be cured or treated. I’m pleased he gave us the ability to laugh and love his performances. I hope his family is doing well despite him being gone. This is such a great video. Great job man!

***** - I do too. I think he did on some level, but his depression and diagnosis of Parkinson's sadly overshadowed it. Depression can be very powerful and debilitating, even with treat, which he did get. He was a resident of our county...my cousin had seen him at an improv place before.. A petition was sent around, many, many signatures...His family approved..So, I think they will be renaming a well known tunnel after him. Things take time, but that's the last I heard. I never get tired of the music video above. Couldn't have done better. Take care 🌹

Casey Crane - Yes, I agree. Still really missing him myself. I don't think that will change. I absolutely love how Melody sheep put this together. Robin would have too. He was selfless. I have a short article that Penny Marshall wrote about him. It's late at night here now, but I took a screenshot of the article. It's heartwarming and further demonstrates the kind of person Robin was....as you said, truly selfless. If you'd like to see it, send me a private message or a message on Hangouts and I'll get back to you with it. Take care. 🌷

@@Memorize-Quran-With-Me one of the tragedies of religion is it convinces people that they can say and do terrible things and it’s ok because it’s praising god. Your comment was not nice. It was not helpful. And it will not convert anyone to your club.
