My boyfriend is exactly the same! Took a while to get used to his personality but he’s the personification of rough around the edges, soft on the inside. He can deadpan say no and then after a nap he’ll have a feast waiting. The people we love and that love us always find a way to show it. When he’s not ready for bed and I am, I’ll always fall asleep downstairs with him, and he’ll carry me up to bed asleep haha

Good to know it’s not just my Korean grandma that’s like a tough nonlovey dovey person on the outside but will still do things for us out of love. My grandma doesn’t do hugs, compliments and stuff like that (only compliments she accepts are from her cooking) but she offers us money and food. I love her very much.
