I think is because Hilda and Claude became great friends during their time on the Golden Deers, they havent meet before like Hubert and Edelgard or Dudue and Dimitri, if you stole Hilda from the GD they never actually bond

Dude the same thing happened to me when playing the golden deer route and dimitri with blue lions crew came charging at me first with dimitri saying "move claude"💀 yet he came to us and we weren't even in his way towards edelgard. Dude literally changed course to get to me before edelgard talking about some move😭

@@Jessica-zf8kh At least that can be explained away by Dimitri's not so great mental state. In Golden Deer, Dimitri is just a rabid animal with an army he cobbled together with a singular objective. He could have gotten lost in his bloodlust and thought Claude was in the way when he clearly wasn't. Claude in both routes still is calm and collected, so him going out of his way to fight you makes far less sense.

Blue Lions is the easiest route because a lot of the core students have access to hero relic and holy weapons plus Dimitri's battalion gives him +10 to strength on top of arguably being one of the best gambits in the game hitting everyone surrounding him.

Their last two maps are definitely hardest on maddening though, on par with 2nd to the last chapter of CF. I love how grand VW's final maps are but theyre just slow turtling towards grandpa fighting the elites one by one.

When you realize dimitri in other routes is seeking revenge against to wrong person and dies along with other individuals you dont recruit from blue lions even if he kills Edelgard twsitd still live which are the ones truly responsible for killing dimitri parents (not mentioning Patricia you all know shes a zuko mom situation;)) At least he gets revenge by killing his thal.... i mean his uncle in blue lions but every other route revenge consumes him and he dies a pointless death cause he couldn't see the light I do stand with edelgard but while playing blue lions am happy that dimitri was himself during the final map and not crazy.

Braulio Luna De La Cruz Yes. It’s never outright stated, but it’s confirmed on the wiki and hinted at by dialogue. They’re not actually the same person - rather, Thales is impersonating Arundel to gain influence in the Empire and control over Edelgard. At some point in the past, he killed the real Arundel and then took over his body, just as Solon impersonated Tomas and Kronya impersonated Monica. It’s implied that he did this when Arundel was smuggling Edelgard into Farghus during the insurrection of the 7. The real Arundel wasn’t a bad guy, he was actually just trying to protect his niece when Thales killed him. It’s also hinted that Edelgard is aware that “this” Arundel is really Thales and she knows that he killed her real uncle, which is another reason why she hates him. This is why she doesn’t want to go after TWSITD before the church, because she knows that Thales also has power in the Empire by posing as Arundel, and she is afraid of fighting a civil war and TWSITD before she deals with Rhea.

Luke VanderVeen there a lot of reason for why Edelgard either doesn’t go after TWSITD before the church as well as why she had to start a war in the first. However, the main reason why she couldn’t go after them first is because they hold all the power in the empire. Due to the insurrection of the seven. Both her and her father has no power but are purely figurehead. As a result of this TWSITD has all the power along side the prime minster. As a result of this, TWSITD hold the empire hostage and cause pain and suffering toward her people if Edelgard doesn’t follow or agree with their plans. ( which happens in game with Remire village. ) Edelgard at the end of day is basically forced to work with them. ( however, Edelgard tries to make this into a positive by trying to fix Fólden. ) Most of TWSITD action in game are done to try and get under Edelgard skin or to cause her much pain as possible. It’s why they also targeted Jeralt. Due to 2 reason. 1. He would have agreed with Edelgard and would have join her and by extension Byleth. 2. To both cause a divided between her and Byleth. ( which are two strongest people in Fólden other then Rhea and Jeralt. ) and make Edelgard loses more faith in others.

You have to recruit Caspar and see their paralogue. I ended up recruiting Caspar during the last month before time skip and it was all pretty much on a whim because I didn't want to recruit BE students but I saw that I met his requirement and was able to see the whole ending with Mercie and The Death Knight.

High charm stat (somewhere between 15 and 20 apparently) and high axe skill (around C), getting a C support with her helps out too.

Late, but in the future, if you get her up to a B support (spam gifts/activities), she'll ask to join your class during the week, same for all the other students (except Caspar and Ferdie who can't get a B support during the academy phase). A lot easier than grinding skills and you can just save scum after you finish your weekly free time to ensure at least one will request to join the class that week. I recruited every student that way because I could focus on grinding skills for Caspar and Ferdinand instead of trying to get every skill up and recruiting manually.

I understand where he's coming from tho Edit : Jeez this got attention, I played Dimitri's route and i still didn't liked him you know. It's just my personal opinion, I know Edelgard is no angel either. That's kinda the tragedy tbh, Rhea, Dimitri, El, they all did awful things, but they all had super traumatic experiences as kids, had their own reasons and are super interesting characters ( even if I don't like Rhea either despite playing her route).
