Oh my goodness, love your nails! I love this type of video. Similar to the "book tasting" they did in my son's class. The teachers decorated the tables with checkered tablecloths to look like a restaurant and the kids would go from one table to another, reading a chapter from each book to see what they'd like to read 📚 ❤🙂

I think you should try reading Project Hail Mary. Is a space sci-fi that follows Ryland Grace, a science teacher, who gets picked to go on a space ship out of the solar system and find out if a parasite called Astrophage is also infecting other stars. But when he wakes up, he doesn’t know anything. Not even his name. He basically is on a mission to save humanity from being wiped out. The mc in funny and enjoyable and the side characters are also really cool. But it does have a lot of science and astronomy, so I don’t know if you’ll like that part. Still highly recommend to anyone

This is a very long comment. Came back to this video because I just finished reading Lessons in Chemistry thanks to your recommendation . That book! Mygawd! It might be my one of the best books I've read this year. No joke. This book is like something the world needs now and forever until humans can truly be humane. Now then i want to gush (SPOILERS) I was so scared Calvin was going to be another one of the audacious men we saw throughout the story. But I'm glad he wasn't, as much as i didn't like the parts where he talked over Elizabeth (like for rowing) and his thoughts about the whole marriage situation. But then again, i understand him because he didn't have that growing up so he wanted it now. That "almost psychology" lady was so irritating. But her redemption arc of sorts was great. Although I do not appreciate her talking like that to mad. Harriet. A dear. Walter. A dear. Did not expect them to end up together. Like damn. I'm glad donatti and that producer? dude got what they deserved. The professor tho.. Six thirty. I love him T.T Him calling everyone by a number and being so protective, i loved that we got to hear from him regularly. Mad. Adorable little prodigy. And so wise. Altho that part where she said Elizabeth was sad and all other instances, i was lowkey scared like what in the supernatural was that suddenly. Mudford. Mud indeed 😒 Elizabeth. Miss Zott. Everytime she spoke, i felt validated. The only character, the only book actually, that encompassed every question I've ever had, every thought I've ever had and it was all done so beautifully. As you said, real and gut wrenching. I was afraid of how the book would end, but i must say I'm satisfied. Elizabeth deserves this peace, support, happiness at the end and as much as i would have loved a couple more chapters maybe, I'm full. Thank you Mel for the vlog. I could read a masterpiece because of you.
