You did beautiful looks but yeah this color story is not it. You're right there should have been matte in there it would have tied the whole palette together.

I love seeing creators support one another! I’ll be picking up a set of the Singe bushes as soon as I get home from vacation. I should be asleep-I have to meet our tour guide at 7am, but it’s Khmer New Years and there is a street party happening outside my hotel room in Siam Reap. Thanks for helping me pass the time! Hotel says they should be done in half an hour!

Idk why but when you were doing the shimmers in look 2, I suddenly remembered 19 year old me with my bright colored faux hawk, tripp pants, and my loud two toned eyeshadow looks. It wasn't a phase, I guess 🤣 I am so happy I no longer have to hunt down those rare bright covergirl singles or the HIP loose pigment. The looks you did were so lovely! Idk if I have a favorite lol. I love melt, I will be picking this palette up for sure. I can't wait to play with this, and maybe see what other palettes I can bring in to mix with it!

💚💚💚 I saw another review and thought the palette was not so good. Watching yours, I'm excited about it now. I think some people just don't like Melt and rather then saying that, they do an ugly look and whatnot. I like both the looks you created. I do agree, the color story doesn't speak much lol. But I'm glad you have the formula a fair shot. Great video. I did pick it up lol.

Look one was gorgeous! I’m super into orange now that the weather is heating up though so I’m a little biased. I’m going to skip on this one, I think a deep dark grungey Smokey eye with a pop of any of the colours would be really cool

Both of these looks are super pretty! Even though I love blue and green, the orange look is my favorite!🥰🧡I do have to admit I wasn’t to thrilled about the color story. I didn’t feel like it screamed “electrip” there’s things I’d like about it. The blue and bright green shimmers are really pretty. I’d wait until Melt or Sephora has a sale if I decide to get it. 💚💚💚💚💚

I saw this at Sephora and grabbed it. I haven't played with it yet but I like the color story. Love your looks too! I'm surprised how burgundy like Strawberry Fields is. I expected a shocking bright red. Still pretty though!

I think this palette would pair nicely with their vida palette or the four twenty palette. I wish they would try something new for the brand like pastels or duo chromes though

I was sooo excited for this palette when they posted the sneaks for it especially because I LOVE Melt’s 420 themed drops (big stoner oops 🥲) but.. the color story just doesn’t do it for me. I was def hoping for some more psychedelic colors based on the packaging and theme. Definitely agree that they could have played up the greens instead of making the palette look more neutral heavy. Definitely in the same boat as you on not seeing this palette as revolutionary!!
