@@Sylvia-zg6yhthe commontator keeps calling it a him when it’s clearly a she. The bit is surely a huge problem I also believe the belly strap is since to tightly and that’s why she keeps kicking the same leg. The royal horses are completely abused with the tack they use. Horse have lots more nerve endings along their bodies that most folks ignore, especially the royals.

Why is the place going to close in a few days? That big fellow was fun to watch before he began to melt down. He was so goofy before, posing for the 📷 tongue hanging out of his mouth 😅 I think that I 'll call him "Reacher" after the character from the books and the show on Amazon Prime. I'm going to pretend that the movies with the tiny actor never happened because Reacher is supposed to be 6'5" tall and built like the Hulk!🤣🤣

The way he was kicking upward towards his belly would indicate abdominal pain. Mild onset of colic perhaps.

Kentucky here …… we raise thoroughbreds. Could have been a touch of colic (gas) and it can be very painful. I’ve seen them bite at their sides. The raised tail was a clue.

Why must the horses stand on bricks? Why are the boxes not lined with large, thick rubber mats to cushion that area? The stress on their legs and bodies standing on bricks for a shift likely leads to pain in hooves, legs, shoulders, hips, etc. As well as the horses are looked after, this seems like an unfortunate oversight in their care. Q-10 did seem most bothered on his right rear leg as he was kicking out with it. He also carried his tail oddly hooked to the left. He may benefit from a good equine chiropractor and/or masseuse.

You are right. It can make them cranky. Let's invent those mats. I bet they exist somewhere.

I have a beautiful big boy like him. Horses his size often are misinterpreted. It looks like he was stung by something. He wasn't tail swishing too bad as if there were more around him. It looked like a pain response. If he wanted to kick he would of. He didn't load up. Also a melt down was not much wait to U really see one. They would of swept and not used water due to the surface as well as them wearing shoes which would be much more of a risk of injury to both as high likely hood of slipping. These horses are amazing and put up with people invading space as well as boredom.hence why they play with the bit a lot more. Most horses would flip out purely with the boredom and then want to rip ppls heads off lol so well trained

Seeing as Q10 has an excellent reputation for being docile his starting to “ cow kick” with his right rear leg only over numerous times may indicate some internal issues, such as gas colic . Any working animal can have a bad day. People say it’s cruel to make animals work, but the animals love to work or they wouldn’t do it and this is proof of it. Doesn’t matter if it’s horses or canines, being a handler or rider, the responsibility of the human/handler is recognizing when they need a break or time off.

He was bitten probably by a horse fly . The boxes are on a public street in Whitehall under Westminster council not MOD . Placing any sort of boundaries whether it's a physical one , which could be potentially dangerous for horse and Trooper , or a painted line like in the courtyard would be a nightmare involving Westminster council , MOD and Household Cavalry !

At 5:22 a guy with a backpack rubbed something on the horse's nose as he walked by; you can see in the next few minutes after is when the horses tongue is hanging out a bit and he begins to rub his nose and toss his head about. Lol😂 He's got an itchy foot or leg. He can't get his head around to nibble the scritch, so kicking almost helps. My old boy did this many times. But instead of kicking outward, he stamped it down hard after waving it around. I think that's why he was maneuvering towards the post to scratch it.
