What would be different reasons to replace the ribbon besides this reason? I have something wrong with my printer and one of the only things I didn't try yet was to replace my cables. It prints, but not correctly. The hue and colors are insanely off. Is the customer service place you called American based and would they help someone that didn't buy their printer from them? Id be willing to pay.

I had to figure it out on my own.. everywhere I asked they wanted to charge me.. I had to remove the carriage bar.. and underneath the carriage was the where I had to connect the cable.

Check the belts and try turning it on and when you hear the head release, unplug it. Then move the head to the middle, plug it in and turn it on. This worked for our sublimation printer that had this issue.

I would suck out a bit of that air on those lines first before doing any head cleaning to prevent damaging the new head with those gaps of air running through the printhead

I was flushing my print head and didn't turn off printer as well. I also took out the print head and then reinstalled it. The red light is staying solid. Does that mean I fried it? Thanks

So I know this is an old video BUT I AM PRAYING SOMEONE CAN HELP🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 I have had 2 epson L1800 from Taiwan and loved them but fried the motherboard. I bought this punehod like the one in this video from a girl offline and when I went to replace the printhead my new Epson L1800 printhead the printhead cable is too big to fit in the cable that came with the printer? How can a L1800 printhead have a different size cable opening on the printhead than my other L1800? Where do I buy the printhead for the Punehod printer? No one ever shows the cable openings in their pics for the printheads and I don't want to buy another one and get the same one.....
