Vlov Arkhangel combo time is here! Vlov is melty blood type lumina's biggest boy, and despite what you might gather from the stature he's actually the games premiere zoner! So learn all the combos you need from his basics to some more advanced endeavor's, along with how to combo from those projectiles and learn the power of this dead ancestor!

Foreword:
Vlov's combo structure is both easy and mildly difficult. The easy stuff well... its less damage. The tricky stuff, you get more damage. You will have to learn elements of timing when it comes to anything involving stomp launches, and jump held C bounches. Sucks, but thems the breaks.
BASIC BNBS:
- cr.A, cr.A, cr.B, cr.C, C, fC, qcb+B, all hits(grab version), super cancel into rush super into air grab
- cr.A, cr.A, cr.B, cr.C, fC, ddB, delay B, jump C(held), air B, land, BB for auto combo, qcb+A all hits, rush super into air grab
PROJECTILE COMBOS:
- Fireball x2, super fireball, fireball x2
- Fireball X2, stomp super, ddB, delay B, rush super, air CB, into air grab
- stomp with followup, stomp super, stomp with followup
- when not full screen, stomp with followup, stomp super, qcb+B all hits (grab version)
ANTI SHIELD COMBO:
- shield B on you, 3C launch, BC, C held, B before landing, B,fC, qcb+B all hits super of choice
MOON SKILL:
- back moon skill, 2C, B stomp, stomp followup(delay), jump C held, B before land, land, BB(autocombo), qcb+A all hits into super of choice
CORNER COMBOS
- cr.A, cr.A, cr.B. cr.C, C, fC, qcb+B all hits, BB(autocombo), projectile super, 3C launcher, A, air grab
- cr.B, cr.C, C, fC, qcb+B all hits, BB(autocombo), qcb+A all hits, super of choice
PUNISH COMBO

The first combo guide for Melty Blood Type Lumina is here, and its Vlov! Now vlov... some of these combos I hate to tell you but they are kinda tricky. I have made things about as easy as I can while still maintaining good damage, but for combos involving stomps and jump held C, theres an element of timing. Now thankfully that element of timing is pretty universal across the combos, but you are probably gonna have to spend a bit to get the hang of it first, so hit the lab! The nature of Type Lumina combo structure being as open and freeform as it is, im sure in time there will be better BnB combos and the like, but these should help you get your feet on the ground!

@@tankboi0078 shiki is very straight forward. Buttons into 214X-X j.[C] j.B 5B 3C j.B j.B airthrow or ex dp for oki. Thats pretty much it. When he gets install just use buttons 22B 214X-X and repeat the above combo. His cooler stuff does no damage unless you spend all your meter

Probably expect another combo guide or two over the next few days for Melty! TGS GG Strive event was a big fat nothing, so no news there sorry to say. However we have learned a lot about KoF 15 since the TGS event with tons of footage out there, so we will be talking about it on the channel sometime soon!

Always try to tiger knee your light fireball. The second hit comes out faster in the air variation

Its all about distance. Projectile midscreen or closer shield is guaranteed. about 70% of the way out, you can punish shield B.

Got a question about Vlov's jump charged C routes, is there a trick to landing the the charged C after a 3C into jump B, C jump cancel charged C? It seems like a gamble every time I go for it.

Here I am in training thinking Vlov has no followups from shield counter A or raw 3C, but apparently j.C combos into charged j.C >_> I would not have thought j.C has more hitstun than 3C

Vlov is a lot of things but safe is not one of them lol

@@lonelygrazioso6677 No DP yes, but most if not all of his moves make him safe on block. While other characters are always punishable for example kouma, that the only one that's not punishable (if you delay it) it's the rekka (since it pushes the enemy away if you delay it between hits)

You stay in fire until you lose a round, which makes him go into ice mode

Is it just me or does vlov full screen seem too op like most characters like saber can't do anything about it now don't think that I'm salty i main vlov myself but can't help but feel bad for other characters i mean if the damage wasn't as bad I'd be ok but just from one fireball and a bar you basically get a full combo

Is there a way to switch from fire to ice in a fight? I can't find an answer anywhere.

Switching to ice is dependent on the round. Vlov will only use ice on a round where he can potentially lose. Ties in with his story in the tsukihime remake where he only uses ice when desperate, cause he hates the cold, even if its his strongest power.
