Thank you so much! I really wanted the rhythm guitar in particular to sound good so I'm glad to hear that it worked out!

This is one of my favorites from the OST as well! (I also love its spiritual successor Melty Monster Galaxy from SMG2.) You absolutely nailed it, great job! The instrumentation is perfect, and your energy is off the charts.

Ah man, I've been meaning to comment on this masterpiece of a remix for quite some time now, and I apologize that it's taken me this long to do so. But wow, what an intense ride this is! The overall intensity and energy here are unmatched, and this has the level of gravity (heh) that you'd expect from a final stage. When you mentioned wanting to do this remix in a different style from last time, we referring to another cover of this piece that you did? I'm guessing you're referencing the Super Mario Galaxy Medley you created, and even though it's sort of an apples-to-oranges comparison, it's amazing how much you've improved over the years since your last SMG video! The instrumentation, percussive elements, dynamics, song flow, clarity of sound... every single aspect of your production has improved considerably, and it's awesome how you continue to refine your sound while trying new and creative approaches. Your versatility as both the musician and producer is something that I think really sets your channel apart in the community. Of course, your channel specializes in orchestral, metal/rock, EDM and hybrid genres, but the fact that you're always trying out new techniques, recording styles, and approaches to both music and visuals is something that I really admire and appreciate! I feel like I really can't say enough about the sound quality here. There's an immediate clarity and level of polish in the guitars, drums, and synths that's present at the start and persists throughout the entire arrangement. The fact that so many of these parts are recorded just adds to the overall listening experience, and results in some seriously cool playing techniques that are difficult to emulate with even the best guitar VSTs.🎸The note bends, vibrato, and subtle changes in tone are so on-point here, and I love that you make frequent use of harmonies here, too. As you mentioned in your response to SteelDragon8, I think the rhythm guitars in particular sound really tight! And the synthetic elements you used to supplement the guitars are fantastic - for instance, the choral sounds at 0:53 add so much to the overall atmosphere, and i'm a big fan of the details you added at the ends of phrases, during sustained notes (e.g., 1:55). Also, these drums are seriously some of your best yet! The drum samples are punchy, bright, and pristine-quality, and I love how the rhythms here sound so authentic and detailed. The way the pattern frequently changes is indicative of all the effort and care put into the percussive elements alone, and the drum fills are natural and assist perfectly with transitions. The kick line especially here is fantastic, and a legit sounds like a double pedal set is being played by a hardcore drummer! I'm finding more and more all the time that strong drums can really elevate a remix further, and that's exactly the case here - an already-great remix has been made even better! 🥁 It's always cool to see one of Stu D. O.'s three forms appear in the video, and the aesthetic really fits perfectly here, with the imposing background image and the stylized font.🔥Everything here is just super sick! Keep up the fantastic work, my friend!

Thank you so much for your comment, it truly means a lot to me! Sorry I didn't reply to this earlier! My main focus was to try and make a cohesive and full mix while still improving my guitar playing and I'm so glad that it carried out well! Lots of tutorials online and help later and I have a good idea of what I'm doing and want to do, even if there's always room to grow and develop! Rhythm guitar has become more fun for me than trying to do fast solos and all that. There's something so satisfying about getting the perfect rhythm section down pat! Thank you again and I can't wait to hear more remixes from you in the future! 🔥🔥
