Mr. Cooper...I am enjoying your story! In 1991 I became the Executive Director of the Canadian Marfan Association. I was just out of University, and then Equestrian College near Ottawa Canada. One of my College professors was married to someone who had Marfan. This was of course before the Internet...so helping connect to people who might have the condition was difficult. At the young age to 21, I ran Canada's only multi-disciplinary Marfan Syndrome assessment clinics with a variety of specialists. Your mom was not alone. I am farm grown, earned by first dollar off the family campground, ran my own trail riding business and put myself through college. I have worked hard to own my own farm now, a few good horses and learn from the best. I hope I can watch or learn from you in person someday. Ride on! - Shannon Townsend

Any time I’m struggling with the grind of life and work, I watch Michael and Jenny’s story. It inspires me to press on and to trust that God has a plan and is faithful when we do our part and trust. I’m so thankful to have been able to be a part of telling this incredible story! I can’t make it through it without balling.
