I know your whole channel joke thing but unironically for my sociology final I'm designing an eco-friendly city that has no roads and is entirely based upon above-ground bike trails and walking trails on the ground (surrounded by glass as to not allow the people to interfere with the wildlife directly, and the glass allows folks to still observe nature and feel more connected with it, which is something many cities often don't have any it's part of why so many people are so emotionally distanced from the natural world). One of the closest examples to a very much walking-friendly city I can think of would be Paris, my dad told me about just how few cars are used there and how it's a good workout to walk amongst the crowd. The closest American city to that, that I can think of at least, is Seattle. I went up there and there's way more bikes than there are proper cars, and many of the cars are rentals. Within the city it's just much more common to see people walk around and bike from place to place, and it never really felt like a congested or crowded place despite how huge it is.

I wouldn't say sloths are useless just because they're slow and hang out all day. Sloths help the environment by eating leaves from trees, allowing sunlight into the rainforest. They fertilize trees by defecating at the base. They have an ecosystem in their fur which allows creatures to grow, and could provide a cure to some diseases. And when it comes predators, they're food for jaguars, harpy eagles, and ocelots! So they are just as important to the balance!

They're totally harmless to humans, although definitely creepy. Here's the great thing though. They eat anything from other spiders to rodents and even snakes.
