Not necessarily, they could have watched the video for the first time as a group to get the reactions, then he goes back to record the footage of the videos later on. I do it myself. Makes it easier to balance the audio. If you record it all in one go and the audio levels arent right, the whole video is fucked. But this way he can have two seperate files, reaction and channel footage to balance out :)
