Well spoken by Dr Panell of Grambling State University. He had tremendous respect for Dr Greggs and he also shed some much needed light on the history of these two bands and how we are connected to one another. Young people need to know this. Grambling and Southern are NOT blood thirsty enemies. The foolishness has to stop!!!!

Beautiful service for Dr Gregg's I'm from Mississippi from Greenville, Ms he was the most chromatic genius band instructor of all time. Especially with a band name called The human jukebox. He made sure no other band could only imitate but not duplicate, rest in peace Mr issac greggs.

Nice video. Thanks for posting. Though It would be nice if you introduced the speakers in subtitles so those of us who are not familiar with certain faces can know who is speaking,

Dedrick Parker Dear Southern O Southern, Dear Southern, Thy praises we shall sing Until all the heavens and echoes loudly ring. The winds of the sky as they pass us by Will adoration bring. O Southern, Dear Southern, we owe our all to Thee In downfall or victory, we’ll always loyal be. Thy Sons and Daughters as they work Will be inspired by Thee. O Southern, Dear Southern, Thy name will ever be As mighty as the river that flows on to the sea. As pure and true as the Gold and Blue, That stands out bold for Thee. Words and Music by R. E. Brown Jr. Arranged by T. W. Langston
