I grew up in Baltimore and as a child, I spend a lot of time at the memorial stadium and I watched a lot great games and players play at that stadium. Johnny Unitas/Joe Namath/ Earl Morral/Earl Campbell/ Bert Jones/ Roger Carr/Archie Manning/OJ Simpson Dan Fouts/ Dan Marino/ Glenn Daughty/ Brooks Robinson/Frank Robinson/Boog Powell/Cal Ripken and the great Earl Weaver argue with the umpires. The first baseball I got at that stadium was from Hal Mcrae of the Royals, he threw it to me when I was in the outfield bleachers. I was a junior oriole member and I will tell you that stadium did me a lot of good, it kept me off the streets and out of trouble.I will always have Memorial Stadium in my heart and the memories I will cherish forever. That stadium was a very important and great part of my childhood. I miss you Memorial Stadium and I salute you.

The worlds largest outdoor insane asylum......Memorial Stadium. During the baseball season was the kinda hidden coveted “Hit and Run Club” restaurant.....that place was fun.....I was in the next section over where the plane hit, in a way it was good that the Colts lost......

Our family had season tickets during that time; Mom and Dad went to that game. They were a few sections over in the upper deck (3rd base side). They had left early since the Steelers won big that day. My earliest memory at a Colt game was Lou Michaels hitting a 50 yd FG that hit the crossbar and bounced through the goalposts against the Redskins. Baltimore won big that day, 41-17.
