Great unbiased review of Diamond Club. Been to Caribe many times, always DC. Personally, I think it's worth the upgrade at time of booking but it's an added cost.

Thank you, I totally agree. I am not a fan of lineups for anything...and DC side of beach had very small lines if any; for that and the BBQ I would always go DC as well.

When booking with sunwing, there is such a small difference in price between the regular and dc that I would go with dc either way. I wouldn't expect all that much since it's nearly the same price but it would be nice to get any little perks.

Really all depends when you book, high season can be as much as $100 more per person. Either way I still agree, the BBQ on the beach and minimal lines at the beach bar make it worth it for me.

Im here at Memories Caribe .. its the last week of June 2024 and I am so disappointed foremost because there are a ton of mosquitos here and it rains everyday but not for long . My wife and I have had sun. We came to Caio coco in February and stayed at Melia Jardins del ray. Yes we don’t expect ever that the food is going to be awesome. The beach is why we came; and it was awesome. The beach is a no go mostly here at Caribe because the mosquitos are unbearably annoying and there are a-lot!! The Diamond club thing is not that great because the actual bar is closed and the coffee house has been closed called Beans. We paid for Diamond Club services but aside from water and beer and towels in the room it isn’t much different than a standard fee-less experience.

wow, I am sorry to hear that. The rain/sun cycle definitely increases the amount of mosquitos. Hopeful you can find some pleasure during your trip.

Sorry to hear about the mosquito invasion. We were there mid-March and there were alot of sand fleas and mosquitoes too. We chose to spend our days by the pool to avoid them. But FYI, we did not know about DC as an option--we booked a last minute special and it was not mentionned----but we had beach towels in our room every day.

took 20 -25 minutes (2 beer and met lots of great people on board). Had to wait on the bus for 40 minutes before departing though, as they waited for another flight.
