Hi Chris... The "pug-a-das" like you called them are:... the line came up with the name "Echo's" It's something I messed around with in some solo work... The line liked them so I put them in the book... The line originally wanted to call them "Scojo's Squirts) I said NO !!! :-)

@@christopherparker8477 yep thats exactly what my dad taught me when he taught me how to play guitar What he actually did was much more than that He taught me how to teach myself, he also stressed that you have to play it slow enough that you play it perfect, speed comes with repetition

One of those guys in there, Brandon Olander, I’ve met last year. Not blue devils related but we are both in bands and we played at this venue one night and he was so nice! Complimented my playing as a fellow drummer. Made me feel honored hearing him say that to me when later I found out who he was. His band’s name is “Droll” check em out when you can🔥😼

I love your channel man! The way you react at first to seeing the videos of the music is so relatable, it reminds me of when I first approach music. Sometimes if something seems hard I at first think I can’t do this but then by breaking it down I start to get the hang of it. You really make learning and breaking down DCI Drumline music a really fun and humble experience for all percussionist from beginners to experts

used to watch this exact video with my aunt the blue devils always had a killer drumline but i was always big fans of phantom regiment and the blue stars shows. was also lucky enough to get into a cadets practice while they were doing the between angels and demons show. that was fun my uncle got me in and i got to march on the field next to the drumline during it
