Such a beautiful song. I think I’ve watched your lesson for the last twenty days straight so I could play it fir my girlfriend. I’m sure I made a few missteps but when I finally gave it a go, the smile on her face made it so worth the effort.

Talk about “memory” motel, this song just feels like that time, the 70’s, Fool to cry was all over the place then to.

From one of their most underrated albums in my opinion. This one and Melody are both top shelf and not as well known as most Stones songs.

As always as a beginner I am mesmerized by how fluid and effortless your strumming is. That wrist is on a hinge! Lol. When I started I never thought that would be such a difficult thing to learn.

I've had some good times there "back in the day". my father was stationed at the montauk coast guard station in the sixties when the Stones were occasionally hanging there and saw them there. great tune.

Just go down the D major scale chords. D (C#dim) Bm (A) G (F#m) Em. Then Em7 calls for D again. Quite a classic. Still, beautiful.

@jamesjames92753 жыл бұрын
Hmmm. Does the second half of the song sound like different chords than the first half to you?
@gregorywilliams12413 жыл бұрын
you know I think I confused this one with the song from Goats Head Soup "100 years ago". Thanks for responding.
