On the yellow page how did you hinge the double tag? It looks like you had something in between the two pages. Love seeing your style at work. Such beautiful pages.
@JamiePate Жыл бұрын
Great question. The tag was hinged to the page first with a separate piece of paper that I scored down the middle then attached to the tag and then to the page. The post card was scored almost a 1/2 inch from the top edge, and then snuggled into the hinge of the tag and adhered. Does that make sense?

Do you store these books once they are complete or do you display them? So beautiful! I am trying to figure out what format I want to scrap my new empty nest hood. 😊

There are Storyteller/Storyline Chapters/Planner insert album holders. They can hold up to 3-4 of these inserts. shrsl.com/2xwr0Are you familiar with them? I will link. But that is how I store them. I share that in my Studio Tour as well. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mKe8lX9ugKehm5o Let me know if that helps or if you have further questions.

How many books do you find you can get into the album holders ? Trying to figure out how many I need lok
@JamiePate Жыл бұрын
That's a fantastic question. I find that I can get three pretty well. And sometimes four. There was a year that I could only get two and had to have two of the album holders for my year. But I prefer to get a single year in a single book.

Thank you for showing & explaining. Question- so this particular alvum/book is not a planner, but a record, right?
@JamiePate Жыл бұрын
It's not a planner in the traditional sense that it plans the future days or the to do list of the days. It's based on Memory. It is like a catalog of what HAS happened. A documentation of one's days. Does that help?

@@JamiePate , I went on Heidi's web site, downloaded the free intro to Stop the Blur, and between you and her, I now understand; and I'm inspired to do it. I wrote you a long response on your Facebook post.

@@JamiePate , what do you see as the pros and cons of using this sewn binding journal as apposed to the 6 ring kind, or even the disc bound type?
@JamiePate Жыл бұрын
@@barbaraedmondson1596 I do not use the disc bound type binding, so I would not be able to weigh in on that. And a ring binding to me is a lot more of a structured story telling like for me an October Album or a December Days Album. I like the separate signatures that lie flat and enable journaling and or art journaling. Both of which are finding their way in this particular book. Not sure if that is what you were asking. Hoping it helps some. Good questions.

Barbara! I love reading this. That is fantastic. It can take a minute to be like 'Oh, I get it now' as it is not the traditional planner girl approach. Let me know of further questions you may have. There is a playlist here on the channel with a whole lot of walk throughs and chats on the subject. kzbin.info/aero/PLl0SEljkiYXjapO4waKdVgR0LJ25TlWd6@@barbaraedmondson1596
