I need 64gb+ so this is not an option for me. Big orchestral libraries requires a lot of ram if you preload all the instruments in your DAW. Just 1 full library almost consumes 60GB, so I need 32gb sticks so I can think about upgrading to 128GB later. The 3600 16c 64GB Crucial Ballistix kits are the best high density kits I found.

Wtf DAW are you using? I have Cubase on Windows 11 with 24 gigs usage /32GB. 35 tracks Many Vsts and effects chains.

@@joemomma707 Even if you can get 4X16GBs of B-Die, it's really hard to OC that because 4 dimms of dual rank memory would crush your IMC

Replaced my hynix 16gb kit with tuned timings with b-die 32gb and it increased my fps by like 30+ wtf lmao. I guess dual rank and better subtimings makes a huge difference in this game.

ShadowMaster the best kit is I believe 4000cl14-15-15-35 kit, but damn is it stupid expensive. There’s a 4400cl17 kit but that’s probably stupid hard to get even Xmp stable. Personally, 4000cl16-16-16-36 1.4v g skill dual rank kit is probably the most sensible. Of course there’s the revered 3600cl14-14-14-34 kit that’s great for both Intel or amd. I’m a cheap mofo and just did the 3200cl14 dual rank kit. It’s decent, but kinda disappointing, but it’s probably my 5800x cpu and mid range msi b550m mag mortar mobo. I could only get it 3600cl16-16-16-32-48-1t gdm on trfc 336 @1.4V.

@@TB_SnEaKy Wrong, all CPUs want faster ram as long as you don't go into gear 2. Both 3200 14-14-14 and 3600 16-16-16 should overclock decently, try anything from 3733c14/15/16 up to some 4133c16 if your memory controller on 12600k can do that...

This Video is a live saver for my friends. So I got 2 friends who have a budget of 600€ and 700€ The 600€ build got a 5600 and some really bad ram, the 700€ build got a 5700x and some really bad ram. I looked at Benchmarks and the Scalling wasnt there. So what I did is to get the 5700x out of there to use the money he has on B die. And oh damn, these 30€ more on the ram will make a huge difference in games. Thanks Jufes.

Better analogy would be like this b die is like F1 car, cjr or something is like a Prius, Prius is very efficient, everybody is able to drive a Prius to it's full potential. F1 car is way faster, but it has high fuel consumption, and requires a skilled driver to operate

Jon Snow depends on the motherboard you have. Some are fine with all four sticks, others not as good with all four sticks. It’s somewhat a roll of the dice overclocking wise with 2 2x8 kits. Anyway, 4x8 or 2x16 for dual rank. Personally, i prefer two ram sticks installed as there’s more space between the ram sticks that way.

a lot of wrong info b-die is easy on the memory controller because tRCD/tRP usually run together, makes it best for intel. nothing, "older" about it. lettering has nothing to do with order of release. hynix does not clock for shit at 1.3v and will negatively scale will voltage if its not a super super binned kit on sub ambient, b-die will scale infinitely with voltage on all important timings + clocks. hynix djr (better cjr) barely scales tCL with vddr

B die will always have better latency. Ram stick 3200mhz cl 16 18 18 38 runs xmp at this speed and latency (it's not a B-die) and stick 3200mhz cl 14 14 14 34 runs xmp at the same speed but it has better latency directly, because XMP means you OC-RAM automatically for speed and latency, which is printed on the ram label, and not only is that a good thing about B-Die, you can drive a much higher voltage with this RAM and B- It doesn't lose efficiency which means it has very good OC abilities and don't forget that it has a temperature sensor

Definitely faster RAM and an unlocked CPU, possibly a better motherboard if don't have a Z series chipset. Also consider using nvidia low latency is the control panel and nvidia boost in the Warzone settings. I'd also try lowering render scale to 80 or 90% if you're serious about frames

Samsung B-die is an 8Gbit IC (meaning 1GB per individual chip) so yes there are 16GB sticks that use it. 8x1GB chips per side and double-sided gives you 16GB. There are some really nice kits too, like 2x16GB 4000 17-18-18.

you overpaid it :)) i paid 95 Euros for 4x8 GB B-Die Chips from Corsair... and they go easy over 4000 Mhz at cl 18 and very very tight Subtimings - even on AMD 5950x - but they need 1,47 volts starting at 3800 Mhz delivering 62ns and 5800 MT/s

Today the cheapest b die is Viper Steel 4000 mhz c19-19-19-39 I just recently got them but they’ve already gone up like 30 bucks in the last month. How many Gb is up to you, 2x16 more expensive tho

I went with 4400hhz for my 9900k. My memory controller didn't like the full 4400mhz. So I lowered it to 4000mhz and tightened up the timings to 16-16-16-36. Got anywhere from 8-15 FPS boost depending on the game.

When you divide the speed 3200/3600 by the latency 14/16 and you get a number over 200 it's a 100% b-die. So 3200 cl14, 3600 cl16, 3800 cl17, 4000 cl18 and so on are all b-die.
