there are several ways to incorporate business best practices to earn profit that is sustainable as a main source of income in candle making. I think the number one way is by applying for business funding and using the money for high quality supplies and doing in person markets. also being sold in stores takes you to the next level without shipping out products. game changer for being a full time entrepreneur to push the 6 figure mark in income

Starting and growing a business to live off of takes a lot of time and hard work, and Chris and I are very lucky and fortunate to be in the position we’re in to work on growing the business as much as we can! I really appreciate you and your family. For sharing what you know about the candle business. I'm learning about how to make candles and then I want to learn how to make soaps after. I would like to make it part of my side hustle once I retire. ( I'm 55 now 😊.I've always wanted to do this. And now that I'm older and all the kids are gone doing their things.😊👍 I can, I figured that as I get older I can do this more once I get in my 60s and 70s. I love working and want to do something until the day I die. As long as I can have fun doing it. As an accountant I'm always looking ahead. And what you youngsters can do now is amazing. I became interested in candle making as a business. I did a search on youtube for candle making and your business came up. Obviously the next thing I did was do a search to see what your revenue profits for 2023. This video came up, and it was quite informative. I appreciate you being transparent about your revenue streams and what they were . I've been in the industry in the last 25 years with digital marketing, website store creation ,coding, databases, and online presentation. Fortunately, I have the knowledge for those things. Once the product is created, I am gonna learn a lot about watching your past videos . I am also gonna be looking at your digital product on educational information on having your own candle business . Thank you for all the information. You definitely are a wealth of knowledge!

Yes I highly recommend it, ideally you should get it before you start selling :)

I know your intentions are good because you’re letting us know we can make that kind of money too but it also kind of makes me feel bad about myself.

@@LisaSaliture definitely not my intention! I’ve been making these income videos for years because a lot of my subscribers are curious to know. There are many candle businesses that make way more than I do, and sometimes I get bummed about it, but I try to not focus on anyone else and just know I have my own unique business journey that I’m on.

You're putting the pressure on yourself. Do what you can with what you have and you'll grow. Even if it's slower than others, moving forward is the goal. Working a full time job and trying to do a candle business is a ton of work! My growth has been much slower than Erica's mostly because I've been a single (divorced) mom raising 3 boys all alone. I'm nowhere near where she is in income and I've been in business for 13 years. We all have to go at our own pace. Good luck!
