I do a lot of Craftshows and did only 10 Halloween candles for my last show and sold all the 10. I cannot believe it. I usually only sell 3-5 . I also sell soaps , bath and bombs. Halloween is crazy. Thanks for sharing.

Probably not realistic for this year, but next year maybe do the 12 scents of Christmas. Make 12 custom blends, all holiday themed, and maybe only 12 of each (or however many you think would sell of each) and then release one each day, or week leading up to Christmas or make the last day, the latest time people could receive before Christmas.

You can do the same thing with Valentine’s Day maybe. Only release 14 of a few different exclusive scents and randomly put live bird wax melt or something like that in an order and they can get something free

I know Halloween may not be everyone’s favorite holiday, but it’s probably at the top of my list which made this more exciting. I actually didn’t know about the built in contest, and I was just drawn in by the limited quantity, and the label. Well I received mine today, and I was excited not only to smell the candle, but also to check the bottom, and guess what… I was lucky #13 😊.

So I already have a following and customer base. About 90% or so of the people who purchased from me where repeat buyers. However, here’s how I would recommend going about doing this if you are brand new and don’t have many (or any) customers: Create a specialty type candle scent around a certain movie, occasion, current event, etc (keeping in mind of copyright laws) And then make multiple reels about it while Using relevant hashtags on every reel to target your ideal audience that would be the type of person who would love your candle. Have people comment the word “preorder” so that you can send them a DM with a link to join your email list and be notified when you open preorders. The main purpose will be building your email list and building hype over your product at the same time. Have a preorder launch date/time set. Keep making reels about it and see what kind of interest you get! If you don’t get much interest then maybe try a different candle idea!
