The hardest part is starting and believing in yourself. I’ve watched enough candle videos I’m starting my business

10000%. That is one of the hardest parts. Knowledge and experience will build your confidence over time.

Still love these videos about starting out, I started with a candle kit , and even though everything was black & white direction wise , I loved it , and that’s when everything started 😂

Erica, do you know what’s the story on Soy 10?
@damariscolon4170Ай бұрын
I just ordered materials from candle science and equipment from Amazon. I really need to this to succeed but I have a really big problem. Since I was a kid I lost my sense of smell, how will I know if the candle is ok when testing it?
@MemoryBoxCandleCoАй бұрын
Oh man, that is definitely a challenge 🧡 Do you have anyone in your home that can help let you know? Also, I would definitely recommend to purchase the top selling fragrances, look to the comment section to see what customers are saying to get a better gist of if it’s a strong scent, if people like it, etc!

im sorry. 2500. i don't believe it. you have to make a video for people with a smaller budget. im not saying i can't get $2500, but realistically anyone can start with bare minimum
@MemoryBoxCandleCo24 күн бұрын
You definitely can start smaller: only testing one wax and jar style, no website, taking your own photos, etc. However $1,500-$2,500 is actually on the lower end. Manyyy people spend $5,000+ getting their candle businesses going. It doesn’t have to be purchased at the same time, if you took a year to invest into the business that would be $100-$200 per month. You could start buy selling candles to local customers first through venmo/cash payments.
@destinyhope1017 күн бұрын
Unless you buy tested candle recipes from experienced candle makers you’ll have to spend majority of your time testing different materials which is mostly why it’s so expensive to start.
@ParisSunset3 күн бұрын
@@destinyhope101 that’s true if you’re making body butters, sugar scrubs, or cosmetics, but there really aren’t formulas for candles. But you’re right about spending money on trying different supplies while wick/fragrance/wax/vessel testing. It gets expensive.
