I once had a lunch at a conference where all the men's wives just had babies. I ( a female) learned more about breastfeeding, preferences of storing milk in the refrigerator, when they need to get up and change diapers MATERNITY LEAVE and whether the woman wants to return to work, etc. Don't tell me men don't talk bad about their S/Os.

My experience being around men is we don’t talk bad about our S/O. In my 49 years I’ve not heard a man who is still in a relationship with their S/O say anything bad about them. Now when they are no longer in the relationship that’s a different story lol

@@justterryl7908 maybe this says more about the kind of men we associate with. 🤔

@@justterryl7908maybe it’s a sign of the times. I know whose wife is on pain killers, whose wife uses babies not to get a full time job, who doesn’t cook, etc. so…. And I don’t have kids and was THE ONLY woman at the table in my previous example. Don’t say I started it

I have several examples of my friends bfs/husbands saying bad things about them, my own partners saying things in a group setting in front of me, and things a previous partner and friends said getting back to me. These "what if a man/woman did that" hot takes are so silly. Also how is insulting your wifes cooking harmless but saying your husband is a baby while sick is harmful. The impact could be the same. I do agree that these "jokes" can be harmful
