The unhealed in the subconscious is what creates the avoidant patterns... you mention it in your video pretty literally too. So it is not that avoidance does not exist, it is about how we react to it. You give good input about not proving yourself to him but let him be so that he can heal, I liked and appreciated that.

I plan on coming out and talking about this experience to hopefully help other women be aware of the signs!! Just trying to get out to a safe place where I can recenter and refocus first!! I’ve also learned a lot from Fareen about how to have HEALTHY relationships and boundaries!! Watching her videos and looking back I realize all the mistakes I made. As a psychologist ( doctorate in psychology) and a marriage and family therapist & a clinical hypnotherapist let me assure you that attachment styles have been formed in childhood and up to almost %43 genetic! YES! Genetic and the rest is learned behavior & coping mechanisms! you are talking about masculine men! What’s their upbringing like? Inner work , define it ? attachment styles of men ARE NOT women’s fault or vice versa … this is a therapy domaine & not a life coaching domaine … it takes time to dig deep into these dynamics … please proceed with caution! And ladies please study attachment styles and see a relationship therapist to heal yourself of past trauma caused by avoidant men … with love

I feel so appreciated after watching your video because I used to follow a lot of strategies. There was no doubt it was working but just for a very short time. The title was a bit triggering because I have spent years learning about attachment theory but she is right, attachment theory is really meant for you to figure out your own attachment style and get yourself to secure.

I only recently happened upon your channel - or more specifically, one of your videos…. And I have to say - I am sooooo happy I did…. I’m not exactly sure why but for some reason I feel it is important to first acknowledge (mostly to myself I think lol) that had I happened’ upon your video or channel - wow, even a few months ago give or take - I’m not sure - well let’s just say that I don’t believe I would have been ready for what you had to say in the same way I seem to (surprisingly - even to me) be at this point…. And I won’t lie - I love it!! I’m not ashamed to admit that it has taken me such a very long time (and that’s putting it mildly) to get to this point - and at times - tho I’ve understood many of these points ‘logically’ I guess you could say - for quite a while now…. And I’ve even realized where I was going wrong so-to-speak… it has not been until very recently that I’ve finally been able to ‘feel’ that logic (idk if that makes any sense - but I am trying to explain it the best I can)… …I really did have a point lol when I started this - but for some reason I feel somehow called to keep typing…. Hope that’s ok…. I’ve been in a seriously intense and deep connection with a man for almost 3 years now…. And as this is already wayyyyy longer than i intended - I will try to keep it brief….. bottom line: for soooo long I did believe he was avoidant (sorta - meaning at the time it was the only explanation that made sense but I always felt something was off or that there was more to it - I just didn’t know what) …I think I started typing because early on in this video you mentioned mention that men aren’t avoidant and for the first time - I’m not sure I can truly explain it - but it made perfect sense to me… Basically - the gist of the past almost 3 years was that we both knew there was an undeniable connection btw us… because of that I foolishly allowed it to continue because I - again, foolishly believed that I needed to see it through for a reason o still cannot explain…. Long story short - tho it definitely did not feel as simple as this - the truth is he disrespected me and I allowed it… It took wayyyy longer than the almost 3 years it has been - but o finally got to a place where I learned and understood I was not only disrespecting myself - but my worth had (for lack of a better phrase) gone in toilet - and I think I knew it for quite some time - but a few months ago idk for sure but I think is when i stopped making excuses for not only him but more importantly I think for myself…. I have been more open and then with him than anyone ever in my life and I finally was not only able to explain this (to him, yes - but I realize now I think it was more to prove to myself that I was able to do that) and have since - seemingly out of no where to him I’m sure (not so much for me tho) walked away and put up boundaries that i increasingly feel not only good about but truly proud of….. I won’t lie - early on I totally projected all my crap onto him - and it took me a long long time to move past that I take accountability for my own actions in this connection…. Our families have known each other our whole lives and I know in general he is a good person and I needed to get to a point where I could walk away and with the understanding that I kept on for so long because I believed (foolishly) that he was feeling it all too - BUT - finally understanding that just because he was feeling it if that isn’t where is at then waiting around for it made me lose respect in myself…. And i totally respect that we are in different places but I can honestly say that i have no hard feelings and only wish him well…. (At least that was gist of it)…and that we simply could not continue with the same story…. And that is ok… He tried - multiple times - to pull the same crap Ii admittedly allowed for way too long ….and tho I am no where near at a point of anything more than observing I guess you could say… the past couple of weeks we randomly (at least for me) ran into each other for a min or two - and I am not reading any more into it than what it is… all I can say at this point is - he 100% softened toward me and it’s like he regained the respect for me that i regained in myself… idk - at this point Idk if I’d even be open to starting slow and over again…. But it really felt good that after all that transpired in these almost 3 years - that even just getting to that - felt really good…. I have expectations on any level…. But idk it felt important for some reason to acknowledge that in a weird way his energy matched mine…. Even if only for a min or two… If anyone is still reading…. Thank you so much!!! And more importantly - Fareen - thank you so much for your totally raw and amazing videos…. They resonate in a way that I simply cannot put into words… love it!’ Thank you

I also love your livestream💖 from 1:03:00 on what you mentioned between a man and a woman, I think this is what I experienced with a man, he was easily triggered and acted with me disproportionate. It felt exactly like this to me. I guess its because some women from his past. I don't know if he reflected this or he realized a contrast between me and other women from his past. I also didnt leave but apologized. maybe because I am in wounded feminine energy?

I don't know what your situation was, but apologizing the first time is probably not bad. If you find yourself continually apologizing for the same thing, that would be a problem. You would either be doing something wrong and never actually changing it, or he is unnecessarily complaining about something that he doesn't need to complain about, or is finding reasons to complain

I love your video's and i would like to see a video on spirituality, i am gonna buy your book too cause i wanna learn more about this, an other question though, yesterday i was out with my male friend, he has a pattern of always attracting wounded woman, is that also something within him? Or is this more the woman's doing because he also says he sleeps with woman very quick (like within 2 months) so I told him i though that was way too sone and he laught with that, he thought of it as normal that people jump in to bed so quickly, he also said, if i meet a woman i can tell very fast if i love her, so i asked do you think then that that is really love? Men fear being trapped and loosing everything to women who would be disloyal. My ex had this fear but knew I would never cheat. I’m am one of those women who can’t even think about it when I’m in love or in a relationship. Farheen, I saw his trauma and he told me was working on it and would go to therapy but I didn’t leave. 😢 our relationship was a mess he did go to therapy for himself and his therapist told him to sort himself out first. The he broke up with me and stopped going to therapy and got back on the apps🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I’m hurt 😢

I am one of the ones who commented about avoidance, but it's only some men who are avoidant, not all. Those men do not trust the feminine or even themselves or they're even scared of their own emotions and fear it's too good to be true. They can run from the strengths of their emotions.

Please Fareen, can you share what exactly you did to work on your healing? I hear this often we need to work on it, but how actually? As you say going to therapy and going to a psychologist doesn’t really do a lot, in my opinion it could make it worse in some cases because the repitition of trauma rising gets more attention then actually implementing the solutions, the healing. How was your journey? I would love to know what we can do aside from joining your inner work course, as you mentionned it takes work and time to heal. This is a very hard question to answer as there is so much that goes into this. Inner work takes a lot of time, consistency and accountability. Number 1 is awareness. I guide you to my resources as I am different and can likely offer a different lens that your soul may gravitate toward. Without awareness we can’t move forward.
