And you want to know something? None of it has any merit, it's all for no good reason and they only do it to make themselves feel better. Don't pay attention to the people who want to make you miserable, pay attention to the people who don't want to make you miserable, because they are the actually sane people who aren't obsessed with their own vanity and pride.

All we men want is just someone who said "I love you" , and someone to spend what little time as have on this world. All we need to work past our limits, and something to look forward to at the end of a long day. With so much rejection and being told there not needed, it's why most of us can't "just smile more". Why we just more then provide for ourselves these days. Many of us were raised and dreamed to provide for a family to call our own. With that dream crushed, all the "good men" can do is just focus on work, and tend to their friends who are their brothers. Those who so understand their pain

@@BMVfilms I get that this "just smile more" is a reference to what men used to tell women, especially in 20th century. Back when they were treating lonely and depressed women for "hysteria". But revenge is NOT empathy. Group revenge for discrimination is HYPOCRISY. If you hate how men were telling women "just smile more", then don't do the same thing to men now. Men telling women things like that in 20th century aren't the same young depressed men who are having social problems now. "Let's discriminate people the way we used to be discriminated" is one of the most disgusting hypocrisies of modern leftists. No. If you say something is bad, then you're not allowed to do it as revenge. Especially against a group of people and not the specific individuals who did it to you in the past.

Because now teaching women some social manners, standards, and respect is seen as "evil patriarchy". Anything short of "You're an empowered woman who can do anything she wants and you shouldn't allow the society to dictate how you should live!" isn't acceptable in the West now. Men and older women would gladly teach young women how to behave with manners, logic, and dignity. But they can't if the social standard today is "Let women do whatever they want regardless of consequences or you're an evil far right nazi".

It's also why people think women are more self-centered than the sun. It's about relationships in general, mostly between other men. So easy for some to simp and betray their own, others to harm and steal from their own, while the rest of us are just trying to build a decent life, which is easier when you have others to rely on. It's a product of a system built around competition, built by men, for women and children. Once a system to push better living standards for your young, now turned a literal game of hungry hungry hippo. Measured in clout, money, and body count.

These politically-driven radicals somehow either pretend or genuinely didn't get that men have pretty much always disproportionately been on the side depicted as ugly, evil and disposable... Creep or not, worker or not. And somehow society is supposedly built by those men to benefit themselves only. On a less related note, I think this could also be why the meme exists where men see for example idealized, fantasy physiques in media and instead of complaining, they often get inspired to work towards those unrealistic goals. It's one of the few times we see men depicted as "cool" and "desirable" after all.

17:35 Shoe does make a decent point about these peoples' opinions being extremely suspect since they profit from male loneliness. But the specific aspect that she gets close to and misses is that whether the OF girls are doing it intentionally or not, obviously they would want to downplay male loneliness, because the more people are aware of it the more people will try to fix it. And the more people try to fix it, the less money they'll get because there'll be less lonely men to try to fill the void with their "wares". Oh right. A crack dealer wouldn't want their "customers" to know why they're addicts. 3:42 That's an old saying and advice from the old days that men used to say to women, for example, to be more attractive to men, “just smile more”. Yes, that's right, this women picked up on a saying from the 1950s that no one has used for decades.
@zdub93
@zdub93 9 күн бұрын
It's actually even older than that. It started as just helpful advice, not an attempt to flirt. If you smile even when you are sad it can "trick" your brain into releasing positive chemicals in your brain. Also it can make people _want_ to be more positive in their interactions with you. But now you can't give any woman this helpful advice without being labeled a creep.
@DeidaraIsTheBest10
@DeidaraIsTheBest10 9 күн бұрын
@@zdub93 It's not just that they can be seen as creeps, it can backfire spectacularly. Maybe the person had a genuinely bad day and doesn't want to smile because she/he doesn't have a reason to at that moment. What if they just walked out of a funeral? What if they lost a beloved pet recently? Being told to smile more can really be annoying and infuriating or bring out those emotions again.
@zdub93
@zdub93 9 күн бұрын
@@DeidaraIsTheBest10 i just love that as a society and as individuals everyone sees everything in the worst possible light at all times. With pessimism like this it's little wonder why people are more isolated than ever in the west. Yes I'm aware that people sometimes have a good reason to be upset, but in all honesty I think it's far more likely that a random person on the street that "looks" upset just has rbf or is bored. But let's say that in an instance where the person in question did in fact just lose a loved one my question is: why does that now mean that some stranger who is trying to cheer you up is now a bad person? I'm not saying that anyone must comply with the advice of smiling more but how is it right to view such advice as have been done with nefarious intent? This whole mentality of "well _maybe_ you'll make things worse" has lead to people simply no longer trying to help lift up their fellow man anymore. This leads to the breakdown of community which leads to the breakdown of society. All to avoid _possibly_ making things worse. This whole mindset seems kinda nihilistic to me and shows that some people are incapable of seeing the good in others.

It still gets somewhat used by people telling people in public facing working positions to smile lol but it's literally just because it makes them more approachable mostly. Don't really know if it's meant for male attraction I grew up in a very conservative area with a lot of small town vibes which means we weren't up to date on many things. So we kinda used it because of hospitality it wasn't used to be like a dis or anything it was just a gesture that the area grew up with and younger girls hate it. Idk why or what for but I only ever said it to my best friends because we always had that dynamic lol. But yeah saying to smile more is rare today even in the back woods like where I come from lol so it's really just decent advice because smiling literally does have benefits.
