I go out of the country 2 months out of the year. I rarely date in the states but I do toss in a date or two every month on the weekend and sometimes things go well. Sometimes it's just a wasted night. But I typically just date girls from other countries that I go to. There are more women going to college and becoming financially independent than ever before, more women opting to be single and self-sufficient, more women choosing to be single-mothers (or childless) and focusing on platonic relationships to fill their time, etc. The reason men are struggling to find partnerships is bc of socialized misogynistic tendencies that place women at a disadvantage. This power dynamic can create exploitative environments, where men use their wealth to control their partner. Bc even the "career-less gold-digger" contributes more to a relationship than the guy who only provides money, but no substance. Statistically, women bear the brunt of the domestic labor, the emotional labor, the child labor and the sexual labor. This doesn't equal out when she has a career, she still bears the majority of the responsibilities. Research shows that single, childless women have higher rates of longevity, mental health balance, financial stability, and contribute more to society, when compared to partnered women. In contrast, partnered men have the highest rates of longevity, financial & mental health stability, etc. And that's bc sadly men do not have safe spaces to be emotionally vulnerable, and so the women they date offer them that emotional outlet. Also, men save money on cooking, cleaning, bookkeeping, hobbies, household expenses, etc. bc much of this is offloaded unto their partner. This allows men to be more productive in their day, and much more stress-free & capable to succeed at work. Men stand to gain the most in relationships, even when he's the sole provider and she's career-less. Women are beginning to realize there isn't much equity in relationships, and men's money is insufficient as an exchange rate, considering domestic labor is equivalent to the 3rd highest GDP globally. So women have calculated that it's cheaper and less stressful to just opt out of dating altogether, that is until men can treat women equitably. Just something to consider, bc your take was fairly superficial, and there's greater nuance behind this issue. I'd try talking to women and asking them their perspective on this cultural shift, I think you'd be surprised what you'd learn. In any case, best of luck on your dating journey!
