I agree in part with your statement, but disagreed on the other hand about his brokenness. In another interview he did, he called the second meeting with the actual perpetrator who eventually confessed following that second encounter my destiny! Wow! Wait, what did he say, his "destiny" in the face of this travesty? This sounds like a profound spiritual awakening to me. Can you even begin to fathom coming face to face with the real perpetrator of a crime, for which you're doing time, that ruined your life, and forgiving him, not once, but twice, and then to call him your destiny? It says a lot about this man's character, then and now! I try to be the bigger person in most cases, but am I'm that enlightened yet? How about you, or anyone else? Let's not forget that his only reason for being entangled in this case was because he was supporting a friend. Korey is the real hero in this story.

More than six victims. Because of the lousy and corrupt detectives and DA's, the real attacker Matais Reyes was able to strike again, killing at least one woman that we know about. This is why I believe that most of the "officials" still don't want to admit they were wrong because that murder and maybe more would be on their hands.

I was 23 when this happened and I knew that these young men were innocent. It hurt me then because I lived in Harlem I saw the division between the people. It was sad back then. This documentary was so hard to watch to see it played out in a film it broke my heart because I have a son and to see how they were treated to be thrown away like trash it rocked my soul because the system is not built for people of color because this is exactly what’ they think of us and our children animals. It brought tears to my eyes reliving it. I hope these young men find some peace ☮️ in there lives. This is a mothers and child’s worst nightmare.

kmike1976 Of course we talk to our children sometimes until we're blue in the face (just an expression). But life has a way of throwing a curve ball. Have you heard of the expression" being in the right place at the wrong time?" This is what happened to these young guys. Prayer is asking God to protect, guide and for strength when we can do no more. Circumstances are all around us.....Prayer is a way of relating to God, must be in sincerity and faith. We can only see what's before our eyes. But God has an all seen eye. He knows what it will be like for us that day long before we even awake. Prayer is a communication with God. But he that come to God must believe that he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6KJV). I have talked to my son's all their lives and have lived by example, but sometimes that just isn't enough. We are living in perilous times. My son's have never been involved with the law and I thank God for that.l
